Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5770

Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade "Qaza'", "Qaza'" means that when the child's hair is cut, some of the hair is shaved off and some is left.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ”قزع“سے منع فرمایا ہے، ”قزع“ کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ بچے کے بال کٹواتے وقت کچھ بال کٹوا لیے جائیں اور کچھ چھوڑ دیئے جائیں۔

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne "Qaza" se mana farmaya hai, "Qaza" ka matlab ye hai ki bache ke baal katwate waqt kuch baal katwa liye jayen aur kuch chhor diye jayen.

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" نَهَى عَنِ الْقَزَعِ"، قَالَ حَمَّادٌ: تَفْسِيرُهُ: أَنْ يُحْلَقَ بَعْضُ رَأْسِ الصَّبِيِّ، وَيُتْرَكَ مِنْهُ ذُؤَابَةٌ.
