Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5812
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate against four men. Then this verse was revealed that you have no authority in this matter, whether Allah guides them or punishes them, as they are wrongdoers. So Allah guided all of them to Islam.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ چار آدمیوں پر بددعاء فرماتے تھے، اس پر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی کہ آپ کا اس معاملے میں کوئی اختیار نہیں کہ اللہ ان کی طرف متوجہ ہو جائے یا انہیں سزا دے کہ یہ ظالم ہیں، چنانچہ ان سب کو اللہ نے اسلام کی طرف ہدایت عطاء فرما دی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) chaar aadmiyon per bad dua farmate thy, is per yeh ayat nazil hui ki aap ka is mamle mein koi ikhtiyar nahi ki Allah unki taraf mutawajja ho jaye ya unhen saza de ki yeh zalim hain, chunancha un sab ko Allah ne Islam ki taraf hidayat ata farma di.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الْغَلَابِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" كَانَ يَدْعُو عَلَى أَرْبَعَةٍ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ سورة آل عمران آية 128، قَالَ: وَهَدَاهُمْ اللَّهُ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ.
