Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5847
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When any one of you eats, let him eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, let him drink with his right hand, for the Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کھانا کھائے تو بائیں ہاتھ سے نہ کھائے پیئے کیونکہ بائیں ہاتھ سے شیطان کھاتا پیتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jab tum mein se koi shakhs khana khaye to bayen hath se na khaye piye kyunki bayen hath se shaitan khata peeta hai.“.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعُمَرِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الِلَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ شَرِبَ، فَلَا يَأْكُلْ بِشِمَالِهِ وَلَا يَشْرَبْ بِشِمَالِهِ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ".
