Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5855
Asim bin Mundhir said that once we were practicing archery in our garden or the garden of Ubaidullah bin Abdullah when the time for prayer came. Ubaidullah stood up and went to the pond in the garden. There was a camel skin lying in the water. He started performing ablution with that water. I said to him, “Are you performing ablution with this water when this skin is also lying in it?” He said, “My father narrated to me this hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘When the water is two three pitchers, it does not become impure.’”

عاصم بن منذر کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم اپنے یا عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ کے باغ میں تیراندازی کر رہے تھے کہ نماز کا وقت آ گیا، عبیداللہ کھڑے ہو کر باغ کے تالاب پر چلے گئے، وہاں اونٹ کی کھال پانی میں پڑی ہوئی تھی، وہ اس پانی سے وضو کر نے لگے میں نے ان سے کہا کہ آپ اس پانی سے وضو کر رہے ہیں جبکہ اس میں یہ کھال بھی پڑی ہوئی ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ مجھے میرے والد صاحب نے یہ حدیث سنائی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب پانی دو تین مٹکے ہو تو وہ ناپاک نہیں ہوتا۔“
Asim bin Mundhir kehte hain ki aik martaba hum apne ya Ubaidullah bin Abdullah ke bagh mein teer andazi kar rahe the ki namaz ka waqt aa gaya, Ubaidullah kharay ho kar bagh ke talab par chale gaye, wahan unt ki khaal pani mein pari hui thi, woh us pani se wazu karne lage main ne un se kaha ki aap is pani se wazu kar rahe hain jabke is mein yeh khaal bhi pari hui hai? Unhon ne farmaya ki mujhe mere walid sahab ne yeh hadees sunayi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Jab pani do teen matke ho to woh napaak nahin hota.“.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ ، قَالَ: كُنَّا فِي بُسْتَانٍ لَنَا , أَوْ لِعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , نَرْمِي، فَحَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ، فَقَامَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ إِلَى مَقْرَى الْبُسْتَانِ فِيهِ جِلْدُ بَعِيرٍ، فَأَخَذَ يَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهِ، فَقُلْتُ: أَتَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهِ وَفِيهِ هَذَا الْجِلْدُ؟ فَقَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَنْجُسُ".
