Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5890
It is narrated on the authority of our leader Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty intends to send down punishment upon a people, it befalls all those who reside there. Then, they are resurrected based on their deeds." (Everyone, righteous and wicked, will be subject to the punishment, but the recompense and retribution will be according to their deeds).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ جب کسی قوم پر عذاب نازل فرمانا چاہتا ہے، تو وہاں کے تمام رہنے والوں پر عذاب نازل ہو جاتا ہے، پھر انہیں ان کے اعمال کے اعتبار سے دوبارہ زندہ کیا جائے گا۔“ (عذاب میں تو سب نیک و بد شریک ہوں گے، جزا سزا اعمال کے مطابق ہو گی)۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Allah Ta'ala jab kisi qaum par azab nazil farmana chahta hai, to wahan ke tamam rehne walon par azab nazil ho jata hai, phir unhen un ke aamal ke aitbaar se dobara zinda kiya jayega." (Azab mein to sab nek o bad sharik honge, jaza saza aamal ke mutabiq ho gi).
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَخْبَرَهُ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ , يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ عَذَابًا، أَصَابَ الْعَذَابُ مَنْ كَانَ فِيهِمْ، ثُمَّ بُعِثُوا عَلَى أَعْمَالِهِمْ".
