Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5896

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhu who said: I heard the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam saying that the greatest virtue after a man's death is that his son should maintain good relations with his (i.e., his father's) friends.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ سب سے بڑی نیکی یہ ہے کہ انسان اپنے والد کے مرنے کے بعد اس کے دوستوں سے صلہ رحمی کرے۔

Sayyidina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki sab se badi neki ye hai ki insan apne walid ke marne ke baad uske doston se sila rehmi kare.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ:" أَبَرُّ الْبِرِّ صِلَةُ الْمَرْءِ أَهْلَ وُدِّ أَبِيهِ بَعْدَ إِذْ يُوَلِّي".
