Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5897
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "He who dies in a state other than obedience to Allah, then he will die such a death that on the Day of Judgement his any plea will not be considered. And he who dies in a state that he has freed his hand from allegiance (to the rightful ruler), then his death will be the death of ignorance (Jahiliyyah)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص اللہ کی اطاعت کے علاوہ کسی اور حال پر مرے تو وہ اس طرح مرے گا کہ قیامت کے دن اس کی کسی حجت کا اعتبار نہ ہو گا اور جو شخص اس حال میں مر جائے کہ اس نے اپنا ہاتھ بیعت سے چھڑا لیا ہو تو اس کی موت گمراہی کی موت ہو گی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jo shakhs Allah ki itaat ke ilawa kisi aur haal par mare to wo is tarah marega ki qayamat ke din uski kisi hujjat ka aetbaar na hoga aur jo shakhs is haal mein mar jaye ki usne apna hath bai'at se chhuda liya ho to uski maut gumrahi ki maut hogi.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ:" مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى غَيْرِ طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ، مَاتَ وَلَا حُجَّةَ لَهُ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ وَقَدْ نَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ بَيْعَةٍ، كَانَتْ مِيتَتُهُ مِيتَةَ ضَلَالَةٍ".
