Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5946
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that we set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with the intention of Hajj, and we did not consider anything permissible for ourselves before the Day of Sacrifice.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ حج کے ارادے سے نکلے اور یوم النحر سے پہلے ہم نے اپنے اوپر کوئی چیز حلال نہیں کی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Hajj ke irade se nikle aur Yaum un nahr se pehle humne apne upar koi cheez halal nahi ki.
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُجَّاجًا، فَمَا أَحْلَلْنَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى أَحْلَلْنَا يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ".
