Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5950
Nafi', may Allah have mercy on him, said that Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, used to dye his beard, wear dyed leather shoes, touch the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner (of the Ka'bah), and recite the Talbiyah when his mount straightened after mounting it. He (Ibn Umar) would say that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do the same.

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما اپنی ڈاڑھی کو رنگتے تھے، رنگی ہوئی کھال کی جوتیاں پہنتے تھے، حجر اسود اور رکن یمانی کا استلام کرتے تھے اور تلبیہ اس وقت پڑھتے تھے جب سواری انہیں لے کر سیدھی ہو جاتی اور بتاتے تھے کہ نبی ﷺ بھی اسی طرح کیا کرتے تھے۔
Nafey rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke sayyidna Ibn e Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a apni darhi ko rangte thay, rangi hui khal ki jootian pehente thay, hajar e aswad aur rukn e yamani ka istalaam karte thay aur talbiyah us waqt parhte thay jab sawari unhen lekar seedhi ho jati aur batate thay ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi isi tarah karte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ" يُصَفِّرُ لِحْيَتَهُ، وَيَلْبَسُ النِّعَالَ السِّبْتِيَّةَ، وَيَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَيْنِ، وَيُلَبِّي إِذَا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ رَاحِلَتُهُ"، وَيُخْبِرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ.
