Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5949
Saeed Muqabri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Once, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was talking to a person, and I went and sat between them. He struck my chest with his hand and said: "Don't you know that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'When two people are talking privately, do not sit with them until you are invited.'"

سعید مقبری رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کسی شخص کے ساتھ کوئی بات کر رہے تھے، میں ان کے بیچ میں جا کر بیٹھ گیا، انہوں نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے سینے پر مار کر فرمایا: کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب دو آدمی آپس میں خفیہ بات کر رہے ہوں، تو ان کی اجازت کے بغیر ان کے پاس جا کر مت بیٹھو۔“
Saeed Muqabri rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke ek martaba Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kisi shakhs ke sath koi baat kar rahe the, main un ke beech mein ja kar baith gaya, unhon ne apna hath mere seene par maar kar farmaya: kya tum nahin jante ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab do aadmi aapas mein khufiya baat kar rahe hon, to un ki ijazat ke baghair un ke paas ja kar mat baitho."
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، قَالَ: جَلَسْتُ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَمَعَهُ رَجُلٌ يُحَدِّثُهُ، فَدَخَلْتُ مَعَهُمَا، فَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ صَدْرِي، وَقَالَ: أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" إِذَا تَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ فَلَا تَجْلِسْ إِلَيْهِمَا حَتَّى تَسْتَأْذِنَهُمَا".
