Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5998
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The biggest lie is that a man attributes his lineage to someone other than his father, or that he narrates a dream that he did not see, or that he changes the seed of the earth."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: سب سے بڑاجھوٹ یہ ہے کہ آدمی اپنے نسب کی نسبت اپنے باپ کے علاوہ کسی اور کی طرف کرے یا وہ خواب بیان کرے جو اس نے دیکھا ہی نہ ہو یا وہ جو زمین کے بیج بدل دے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Sab se bada jhoot yeh hai ki aadmi apne nasab ki nisbat apne baap ke alawa kisi aur ki taraf kare ya woh khwab bayan kare jo usne dekha hi na ho ya woh jo zameen ke beej badal de.
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ حَيْوَةُ , أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عُثْمَانَ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ دِينَارٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ، وَأَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ أَرَى عَيْنَيْهِ فِي النَّوْمِ مَا لَمْ تَرَيَا، وَمَنْ غَيَّرَ تُخُومَ الْأَرْضِ".
