Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6050
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Bilal does not know how much of the night is left, so you should continue to eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum gives the call to prayer.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: بلال کو پتہ نہیں چلتا کہ رات کتنی بچی ہے؟ اس لئے جب تک ابن ام مکتوم اذان نہ دے دیں تم کھاتے پیتے رہو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Bilal ko pata nahi chalta ki raat kitni bachi hai? Is liye jab tak Ibn Umm Maktum azan na de den tum khate peete raho.
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِنَّ بِلَالًا لَا يَدْرِي مَا اللَّيْلُ، فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُنَادِيَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ".
