Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6122
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the most beloved names to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were Abdullah and Abdur Rahman.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے زیادہ پسندیدہ نام عبداللہ اور عبدالرحمن تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazdeek sab se zyada pasandida naam Abdullah aur Abdurrahman thay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ أَحَبَّ الْأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ , وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ".
