Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6131
Nafi' narrated that Ibn 'Umar preferred to pray the Zuhr prayer on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah in Mina, if possible, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the Zuhr prayer there on that day.

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما آٹھ ذی الحجہ کی نماز ظہر حتی المقدور منٰی میں ادا کرنا پسند فرماتے تھے کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے بھی اس دن ظہر کی نماز منٰی میں پڑھی تھی۔
Naafey rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a aath Zil Hajj ki namaz Zuhar hata al-maqdoor Mina mein ada karna pasand farmate thay kyunki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bhi iss din Zuhar ki namaz Mina mein parhi thi.
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحِبُّ إِذَا اسْتَطَاعَ، أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى مِنْ يَوْمِ التَّرْوِيَةِ، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى".
