Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6132
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was returning from Hajj, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered prayer in the valley of Batha. Then, when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered Madinah, he made his camel sit at the door of Masjid Nabawi and entered the mosque and offered two rak'ahs there as well. Then he went to his house. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to do the same.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب حج سے واپس تشریف لا رہے تھے تو آپ ﷺ نے وادی بطحاء میں نماز ادا فرمائی پھر جب مدینہ منورہ میں داخل ہوئے تو مسجد نبوی کے دروازے پر اپنی اونٹنی کو بٹھا کر مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور وہاں بھی دو رکعتیں پڑھیں پھر اپنے گھر تشریف لے گئے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما خود بھی اسی طرح کرتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" صَلَّى حِينَ أَقْبَلَ مِنْ حَجَّتِهِ قَافِلًا فِي تِلْكَ الْبَطْحَاءِ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ، فَأَنَاخَ عَلَى بَابِ مَسْجِدِهِ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَهُ، فَرَكَعَ فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ"، قَالَ نَافِعٌ: فَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ كَذَلِكَ يَصْنَعُ.
