It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer the Witr prayer while riding.

حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مُوسَى ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" كَانَ يُوتِرُ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ".
