Narrated Ibn `Umar: I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) offering the optional prayer (Nafl prayer) while riding, and Ibn `Umar used to do the same.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو دیکھا ہے کہ وہ سواری پر نفل نماز پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما خود بھی اسی طرح کر لیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يُصَلِّي سُبْحَتَهُ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ نَاقَتُهُ".
