Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6360
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a few Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), including Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), were passing by Ibn Sayyad with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Ibn Sayyad was playing with children near the mounds of Banu Mughirah. He himself was also a child at that time and was unaware of the arrival of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), until the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his hand on his back and said, "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" Ibn Sayyad looked up at the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "I testify that you are the Messenger of the illiterate." Then Ibn Sayyad said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Do you testify about me that I am a prophet of Allah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I believe in Allah and His Messengers." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "What comes to you?" He said, "A truthful one and a liar come to me." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The matter has become confused for you." Then he said, "I have concealed something in my heart for you, tell me what is it?" (The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had concealed the verse of the Quran "Yawma ta'ti as-sama'u bidukhanin mubeen" in his mind). Ibn Sayyad said, "It is Dukhan (smoke)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go away, you cannot go beyond your status." Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah! Allow me to strike his neck." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If he is the Dajjal, then you will not be given power over him, and if he is not the Dajjal, then what is the benefit of killing him?"

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ چند صحابہ کر ام رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ جن میں سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے نبی کریم ﷺ ابن صیاد کے پاس سے گزرے وہ اس وقت بنو مغالہ کے ٹیلوں کے پاس بچوں کے ساتھ کھیل رہا تھا خود بھی وہ بچہ ہی تھا اسے نبی کریم ﷺ کے آنے کی خبر نہ ہوئی یہاں تک کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کی پشت پر اپنا ہاتھ مارا اور فرمایا: ”کیا تو اس بات کی گواہی دیتا ہے کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں؟ ابن صیاد نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی طرف نظر اٹھا کر دیکھا اور کہنے لگا کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ امیوں کے رسول ہیں پھر ابن صیاد نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے کہا کہ کیا آپ میرے متعلق اللہ کا پیغمبر ہونے کی گواہی دیتے ہیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں تو اللہ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان رکھتا ہوں۔ پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا کہ تیرے پاس کیا آتا ہے؟ اس نے کہا میرے پاس ایک سچا اور ایک جھوٹا آتا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تجھ پر معاملہ مشتبہ ہو گیا پھر فرمایا: ”میں نے اپنے دل میں تیرے لئے ایک چیز چھپائی ہے بتا وہ کیا ہے؟ (نبی کریم ﷺ نے آیت قرآنی یوم تاتی السماء بدخان مبین) اپنے ذہن میں چھپائی تھی) ابن صیاد کہنے لگاوہ دخ ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”دور ہو تو اپنی حیثیت سے آگے نہیں بڑھ سکتا سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! مجھے اجازت دیجئے کہ اس کی گردن ماروں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ وہی دجال ہے تو تمہیں اس پر قدرت نہیں دی جائے گی اور اگر یہ وہی دجال نہیں ہے تو اسے قتل کر نے میں کیا فائدہ؟
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba chand Sahaba Karam (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath jin mein Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bhi the Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ibn Sayyad ke paas se guzre woh us waqt Banu Maghalah ke teelon ke paas bachchon ke sath khel raha tha khud bhi woh bachcha hi tha use Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke aane ki khabar na hui yahan tak ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uski pusht par apna hath mara aur farmaya kya tu is baat ki gawahi deta hai ki mein Allah ka رسول ہوں Ibn Sayyad ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf nazar utha kar dekha aur kahne laga ki mein gawahi deta hun ki aap ummiyon ke rasool hain phir Ibn Sayyad ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kaha ki kya aap mere mutalliq Allah ka paighambar hone ki gawahi dete hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein to Allah aur uske rasoolon par imaan rakhta hun phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se puchha ki tere paas kya aata hai usne kaha mere paas ek sachcha aur ek jhootha aata hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tujh par mamla mushtaba ho gaya phir farmaya mein ne apne dil mein tere liye ek cheez chhupayi hai bata woh kya hai (Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ayat quranni Yauma Ta'ti as-Samaa'u Bi Dukhanin Mubeen apne zehn mein chhupayi thi) Ibn Sayyad kahne laga woh dhukh hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya door ho tu apni haisiyat se aage nahin badh sakta Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne arz kiya ya Rasulullah mujhe ijazat dijiye ki iski gardan maroon Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yeh wahi Dajjal hai to tumhein is par qudrat nahin di jayegi aur agar yeh wahi Dajjal nahin hai to ise qatl karne mein kya faidah.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , مَرَّ بِابْنِ صَيَّادٍ، فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، فِيهِمْ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، وَهُوَ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ عِنْدَ أُطُمِ بَنِي مَغَالَةَ، وَهُوَ غُلَامٌ، فَلَمْ يَشْعُرْ حَتَّى ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ظَهْرَهُ بِيَدِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ؟" فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ، فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ رَسُولُ الْأُمِّيِّينَ , ثُمَّ قَالَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ؟! فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ وَبِرُسُلِهِ"، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَا يَأْتِيكَ؟" قَالَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ: يَأْتِينِي صَادِقٌ وَكَاذِبٌ! فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" خُلِطَ لَكَ الْأَمْرُ"، ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنِّي قَدْ خَبَأْتُ لَكَ خَبِيئًا" وَخَبَأَ لَهُ: يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُبِينٍ سورة الدخان آية 10، فَقَالَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ هُوَ الدُّخُّ!! فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اخْسَأْ فَلَنْ تَعْدُوَ قَدْرَكَ"، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ائْذَنْ لِي فِيهِ فَأَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنْ يَكُنْ هُوَ، فَلَنْ تُسَلَّطَ عَلَيْهِ، وَإِنْ لَا يَكُنْ، هُوَ فَلَا خَيْرَ لَكَ فِي قَتْلِهِ".
