Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6390
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "From where should a person assume Ihram?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Dhul-Hulaifa is the Miqat for the people of Medina, Juhfa for the people of Syria, Yalamlam for the people of Yemen, and Qarn al-Manazil for the people of Najd." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Later, people considered Dhat 'Irq to be equivalent to Qarn."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ انسان احرام کہاں سے باندھے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اہل مدینہ کے لئے ذوالحلیفہ اہل شام کے لئے جحفہ اہل یمن کے لئے یلملم اور اہل نجد کے لئے قرن میقات ہے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ بعد میں لوگوں نے ذات عرق کو قرن پر قیاس کر لیا۔
Sayyena Ibne Umar Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai keh aik aadmi ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha keh Insaan ehram kahan se bandhe Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Ahl Madina ke liye Zualhalifa Ahl Sham ke liye Jahfa Ahl Yemen ke liye Yalamlam aur Ahl Najd ke liye Qarn miqat hai Sayyena Ibne Umar Raziallahu Anhuma farmate hain keh bad mein logon ne Zat Erq ko Qarn per qayas kar liya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَامَ رَجُلٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَنَادَى , مِنْ أَيْنَ نُهِلُّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ:" يُهِلُّ مُهِلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَيُهِلُّ مُهِلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَيُهِلُّ مُهِلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ"، قَالَ: وَيَزْعُمُونَ، أَوْ يَقُولُونَ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" وَيُهِلُّ مُهِلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ أَلَمْلَمَ".
