Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6759
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that someone asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about sacrificing the first offspring of a camel. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “It is permissible, but if you leave it until it grows up, two or three years old, then you give it to someone to ride in the way of Allah, or you give it to widows, it is better than you slaughtering it and smearing its meat and hair on your pot, turning it upside down, and driving your she-camel crazy.”

سیدنا ابن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے کسی نے اونٹ کے پہلے بچے کی قربانی کے متعلق پوچھا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ برحق ہے لیکن اگر تم اسے جوان ہونے تک چھوڑ دو کہ وہ دو تین سال کا ہو جائے پھر تم اسے کسی کو فی سبیل اللہ سواری کے لئے دے دو یا بیواؤں کو دے دو تو یہ زیادہ بہتر ہے اس بات سے کہ تم اسے ذبح کر کے اس کا گوشت اس کے بالوں کے ساتھ لگاؤ اپنا برتن الٹ دو اور اپنی اونٹنی کو پاگل کر دو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Amr RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW se kisi ne unt ke pehle bacche ki qurbani ke mutalliq poocha to Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya: Yeh barhaq hai lekin agar tum usay jawan hone tak chhor do keh woh do teen saal ka ho jaye phir tum usay kisi ko fi sabeelillah sawari ke liye de do ya bewagon ko de do to yeh zyada behtar hai is baat se keh tum usay zibah kar ke uska gosht uske baalon ke sath lagao apna bartan ulat do aur apni untni ko pagal kar do.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْفَرَعِ؟ فَقَالَ:" الْفَرَعُ حَقٌّ، وَإِنْ تَرَكْتَهُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ شُغْزُبًّا ابْنَ مَخَاضٍ أَوْ ابْنَ لَبُونٍ، فَتَحْمِلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، أَوْ تُعْطِيَهُ أَرْمَلَةً، خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ تَبُكَّهُ يَلْصَقُ لَحْمُهُ بِوَبَرِهِ، وَتَكْفَأَ إِنَاءَكَ، وَتُولِيَ نَاقَتَكَ".
