Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7424
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) or Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has appointed certain angels, other than those who write down the deeds of people, to roam the earth. Whenever these angels find some people engaged in the remembrance of Allah, they call out to each other, "Come towards your desired ones!" They gather together and encompass these people until they reach the first heaven. (When they ascend to heaven) Allah asks them, "In what state did you leave My servants?" They reply, "We left them while they were praising and glorifying You and remembering You." Allah asks, "Did they see Me?" They reply, "No." Allah asks, "What would have happened if they had seen Me?" They reply, "If they had seen You, they would have been even more intensely engaged in Your praise, glorification, and remembrance." Allah asks, "What were they seeking?" They reply, "They were seeking Paradise." Allah asks, "Have they seen Paradise?" They reply, "No." Allah asks, "What would have happened if they had seen Paradise?" They reply, "If they had seen Paradise, they would have been even more intensely desirous and eager for it." Allah asks, "From what were they seeking refuge?" They reply, "From Hellfire." Allah asks, "Have they seen Hellfire?" They reply, "No." Allah asks, "What would have happened if they had seen Hellfire?" They reply, "If they had seen Hellfire, they would have run away from it and feared it even more intensely." Allah says, "You be witness that I have forgiven all their sins." The angels say, "But among them was so-and-so, a sinful person, who did not come on his own but was brought by some need or compulsion." Allah says, "This is such a gathering that whoever sits with them will never be deprived [of Allah's mercy]."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ یا حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ کے کچھ فرشتے جو لوگوں کا نامہ اعمال لکھنے والے فرشتوں کے علاوہ ہوتے ہیں اس کام پر مقرر ہیں کہ وہ زمین میں گھومتے پھریں یہ فرشتے جہاں کچھ لوگوں کو ذکر کرتے ہوئے دیکھتے ہیں تو آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو آوازیں دے کر کہتے ہیں کہ اپنے مقصود کی طرف آؤ چنانچہ وہ سب اکھٹے ہو کر آ جاتے ہیں اور ان لوگوں کو آسمان دنیا تک ڈھانپ لیتے ہیں۔ (پھر جب وہ آسمان پر جاتے ہیں تو) اللہ ان سے پوچھتا ہے کہ میرے بندوں کو تم کیا کرتے ہوئے چھوڑ کر آئے ہو؟ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم انہیں اس حال میں چھوڑ کر آئے ہیں کہ وہ آپ کی تعریف وتحمید بیان کررہے تھے اور آپ کا ذکر کررہے تھے اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ کیا انہوں نے مجھے دیکھا ہے؟ وہ کہتے ہیں نہیں اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ اگر وہ مجھے دیکھ لیتے تو کیا ہوتا؟ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر وہ آپ کو دیکھ لیتے تو اور زیادہ شدت کے ساتھ آپ کی تحمید اور تمجید اور ذکر میں مشغول رہتے اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ وہ کس چیز کو طلب کر رہے تھے؟ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ وہ لوگ جنت طلب کر رہے تھے اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ کیا انہوں نے جنت کو دیکھا ہے؟ وہ کہتے ہیں نہیں اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ اگر وہ جنت کو دیکھ لیتے تو کیا ہوتا؟ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر وہ جنت کو دیکھ لیتے تو وہ اور زیادہ شدت کے ساتھ اس کی حرص اور طلب کرتے اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ وہ کس چیز سے پناہ مانگ رہے تھے؟ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جہنم سے اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ کیا انہوں نے جہنم کو دیکھا ہے؟ وہ کہتے ہیں نہیں اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ اگر وہ جہنم کو دیکھ لیتے تو کیا ہوتا؟ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر وہ جہنم کو دیکھ لیتے تو اور زیادہ شدت کے ساتھ اس سے دور بھاگتے اور خوف کھاتے اللہ فرماتا ہے کہ تم گواہ رہو میں نے ان سب کے گناہوں کو معاف فرما دیا فرشتے کہتے ہیں کہ ان میں تو فلاں گنہگار آدمی بھی شامل تھا جو ان کے پاس خود نہیں آیا تھا بلکہ کوئی ضرورت اور مجبوری اسے لے آئی تھی اللہ فرماتا ہے کہ یہ ایسی جماعت ہے جن کے ساتھ بیٹھنے والا کبھی محروم نہیں رہتا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ya Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Allah Ta'ala ke kuch farishtey jo logon ka nama amal likhne wale farishto ke ilawa hote hain is kaam par muqarrar hain ki woh zameen mein ghoomte phirte hain ye farishtey jahan kuch logon ko zikr karte hue dekhte hain to aapas mein ek dusre ko aawazain de kar kehte hain ki apne maqsud ki taraf aao chunancha woh sab ekhatte ho kar aa jate hain aur in logon ko aasman duniya tak dhaanp lete hain. (Phir jab woh aasman par jate hain to) Allah un se poochta hai ki mere bandon ko tum kya karte hue chhod kar aaey ho? Woh kehte hain ki hum unhen is hal mein chhod kar aaey hain ki woh aap ki tareef o tamheed bayan kar rahe the aur aap ka zikr kar rahe the Allah poochta hai ki kya unhon ne mujhe dekha hai? Woh kehte hain nahin Allah poochta hai ki agar woh mujhe dekh lete to kya hota? Woh kehte hain ki agar woh aap ko dekh lete to aur zyada shiddat ke sath aap ki tahmeed aur tamjeed aur zikr mein mashgool rehte Allah poochta hai ki woh kis cheez ko talab kar rahe the? Woh kehte hain ki woh log jannat talab kar rahe the Allah poochta hai ki kya unhon ne jannat ko dekha hai? Woh kehte hain nahin Allah poochta hai ki agar woh jannat ko dekh lete to kya hota? Woh kehte hain ki agar woh jannat ko dekh lete to woh aur zyada shiddat ke sath is ki haris aur talab karte Allah poochta hai ki woh kis cheez se panah mang rahe the? Woh kehte hain ki jahannum se Allah poochta hai ki kya unhon ne jahannum ko dekha hai? Woh kehte hain nahin Allah poochta hai ki agar woh jahannum ko dekh lete to kya hota? Woh kehte hain ki agar woh jahannum ko dekh lete to aur zyada shiddat ke sath is se door bhaagte aur khauf khate Allah farmata hai ki tum gawah raho main ne in sab ke gunahon ko maaf farma diya Farishtey kehte hain ki in mein to falan gunahgar aadmi bhi shamil tha jo in ke paas khud nahin aaya tha balki koi zaroorat aur majboori ise le aai thi Allah farmata hai ki yeh aisi jamat hai jin ke sath baithne wala kabhi mehroom nahin rehta.
(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، هُوَ شَكَّ يعنى الأعمش قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلَائِكَةً سَيَّاحِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، فُضُلًا عَنْ كُتَّابِ النَّاسِ، فَإِذَا وَجَدُوا قَوْمًا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ، تَنَادَوْا: هَلُمُّوا إِلَى بُغْيَتِكُمْ، فَيَجِيئُونَ، فَيَحُفُّونَ بِهِمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ: أَيَّ شَيْءٍ تَرَكْتُمْ عِبَادِي يَصْنَعُونَ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: تَرَكْنَاهُمْ يَحْمَدُونَكَ، وَيُمَجِّدُونَكَ، وَيَذْكُرُونَكَ، فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ رَأَوْنِي؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: لَا، فَيَقُولُ: فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْنِي؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: لَوْ رَأَوْكَ لَكَانُوا أَشَدَّ تَحْمِيدًا، وَتَمْجِيدًا، وَذِكْرًا، فَيَقُولُ: فَأَيَّ شَيْءٍ يَطْلُبُونَ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: يَطْلُبُونَ الْجَنَّةَ، فَيَقُولُ: وَهَلْ رَأَوْهَا؟ قَالَ: فَيَقُولُونَ: لَا، فَيَقُولُ: فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: لَوْ رَأَوْهَا كَانُوا أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهَا حِرْصًا، وَأَشَدَّ لَهَا طَلَبًا، قَالَ: فَيَقُولُ: وَمِنْ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ يَتَعَوَّذُونَ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: مِنَ النَّارِ، فَيَقُولُ: وَهَلْ رَأَوْهَا؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: لَا، قَالَ: فَيَقُولُ: فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: لَوْ رَأَوْهَا كَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهَا هَرَبًا، وَأَشَدَّ مِنْهَا خَوْفًا، قَالَ: فَيَقُولُ: إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكُمْ أَنِّي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَهُمْ، قَالَ: فَيَقُولُونَ: فَإِنَّ فِيهِمْ فُلَانًا الْخَطَّاءَ، لَمْ يُرِدْهُمْ إِنَّمَا جَاءَ لِحَاجَةٍ، فَيَقُولُ: هُمْ الْقَوْمُ لَا يَشْقَى بِهِمْ جَلِيسُهُمْ".
