Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8704
Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There are some angels of Allah, besides the angels who record the deeds of people, who are appointed to roam the earth. When they mention the name of certain people, they all gather together and encompass them from the earth to the sky. Then when they reach the sky, Allah asks them, even though He knows better than them, 'Where have you come from?' They reply, 'We have come from among your servants.' They were people seeking paradise, seeking refuge from hell, and seeking forgiveness for their sins. Allah asks them, 'Have they seen paradise?' If they had seen paradise, what would have happened? They were seeking refuge from hell, if they had seen hell, what would have happened? I have forgiven all their sins.' The angels say, 'Among them was a certain sinful person who did not come with them; rather, he was brought forcibly due to necessity. Allah says, 'This is a group with whom anyone who sits will never be deprived.'"

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ کے کچھ فرشتے جو لوگوں کا نامہ اعمال لکھنے والے فرشتوں کے علاوہ ہوتے ہیں اس کام پر مقرر ہیں کہ وہ زمین میں گھومتے پھریں یہ فرشتے جہاں کچھ لوگوں کو ذکر کرتے ہوئے دیکھتے ہیں تو وہ سب اکھٹے ہو کر آجاتے ہیں اور ان لوگوں کو آسمان دنیا تک ڈھانپ لیتے ہیں۔ (پھر جب وہ آسمان پر جاتے ہیں تو) اللہ ان سے پوچھتا ہے حالانکہ وہ ان سے زیادہ جانتا ہے کہ تم کہاں سے آئے ہو وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم آپ کے بندوں کے پاس سے آئے ہیں وہ لوگ جنت کی طلب کر رہے تھے جہنم سے آپ کی پناہ مانگ رہے تھے اور آپ سے اپنے گناہوں کی معافی مانگ رہے تھے اللہ پوچھتا ہے کہ کیا انہوں نے جنت کو دیکھا ہے؟ اگر وہ جنت کو دیکھ لیتے تو کیا ہوتا؟ جہنم سے وہ پناہ مانگ رہے تھے اگر وہ جہنم کو دیکھ لیتے تو کیا ہوتا؟ میں نے ان سب کے گناہوں کو معاف فرما دیا فرشتے کہتے ہیں کہ ان میں تو فلاں گنہگار آدمی بھی شامل تھا جو ان کے پاس خود نہیں آیا تھا بلکہ کوئی ضرورت اور مجبوری اسے لے آئی تھی اللہ فرماتا ہے کہ یہ ایسی جماعت ہے جن کے ساتھ بیٹھنے والا کبھی محروم نہیں رہتا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala ke kuch farishtey jo logon ka nama amal likhne wale farishton ke ilawa hote hain is kaam par muqarrar hain ke wo zameen mein ghoomte phiren ye farishtey jahan kuch logon ko zikar karte hue dekhte hain to wo sab akhatte ho kar aate hain aur in logon ko aasman duniya tak dhaanp lete hain (phir jab wo aasman par jate hain to) Allah unse poochhta hai halanke wo unse zyada janta hai ke tum kahan se aaye ho wo kehte hain ke hum aap ke bandon ke paas se aaye hain wo log jannat ki talab kar rahe the jahannam se aap ki panaah mang rahe the aur aap se apne gunahon ki maafi mang rahe the Allah poochhta hai ke kya unhon ne jannat ko dekha hai? agar wo jannat ko dekh lete to kya hota? jahannam se wo panaah mang rahe the agar wo jahannam ko dekh lete to kya hota? maine in sab ke gunahon ko maaf farma diya farishtey kehte hain ke in mein to falan gunahgar aadmi bhi shamil tha jo in ke paas khud nahin aaya tha balke koi zaroorat aur majboori ise le aayi thi Allah farmata hai ke ye aisi jamaat hai jin ke sath baithne wala kabhi mehroom nahin rehta.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَلَائِكَةً فُضُلًا، يَتَّبِعُونَ مَجَالِسَ الذِّكْرِ، يَجْتَمِعُونَ عِنْدَ الذِّكْرِ، فَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِمَجْلِسٍ عَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ حَتَّى يَبْلُغُوا الْعَرْشَ، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُمْ، وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ: مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتُم؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: مِنْ عِنْدِ عَبِيدٍ لَكَ، يَسْأَلُونَكَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَيَتَعَوَّذُونَ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَكَ، فَيَقُولُ عزََّ وجلَّ: يَسْأَلُونِي جَنَّتِي، هَلْ رَأَوْهَا، فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا؟ وَيَتَعَوَّذُونَ مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا؟ فَإِنِّي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَهُمْ، فَيَقُولُونَ: رَبَّنَا، إِنَّ فِيهِمْ عَبْدَكَ الْخَطَّاءَ فُلَانًا، مَرَّ بِهِمْ لِحَاجَةٍ لَهُ، فَجَلَسَ إِلَيْهِمْ، فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: أُولَئِكَ الْجُلَسَاءُ لَا يَشْقَى بِهِمْ جَلِيسُهُم" .
