Our master Abu Sa'id said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out at noon. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs each of Zuhr and Asr at a place called Batha. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) planted his spear in front of him and performed ablution. People started to mix with the remaining water of his (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ablution.

(١١١٧) سیدنا ابی فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) دوپہر کو نکلے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بطحاء نامی جگہ پر ظہر اور عصر کی دو دو رکعتیں ادا کیں اور اپنے آگے نیزہ گاڑا اور وضو کیا اور لوگ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے وضو کے بچے ہوئے پانی کو ملنے لگے۔
(1117) Syedna Abi farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) dopahar ko nikle, aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Batha nami jaga par Zuhar aur Asar ki do do rakaten ada keen aur apne aage neza gada aur wazu kiya aur log aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke wazu ke bache huye pani ko milne lage.
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When I was sick, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take care of me. At that time, I was unconscious. He (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and poured the remaining water of his ablution over me, and I regained consciousness. I submitted: “O Messenger of Allah! To whom will my inheritance go? My heir is a maternal uncle?” So, the verses of inheritance were revealed.

(١١١٨) سیدنا جابر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جب میں مریض تھا تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) میری تیمار داری کیا کرتے تھے، اس وقت مجھے ہوش نہیں تھا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے وضو کیا اور اپنے وضو کا بچا ہوا پانی مجھ پر ڈالا تو مجھے ہوش آگیا، میں نیعرض کیا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! میری وراثت کس کے لیے ہے، میرا وارث کلالہ ہے ؟ تو فرائض کی آیت نازل ہوئی۔
Sidna Jabir (RA) farmate hain ki jab main mareez tha to Rasool Allah (SAW) meri timadari kya karte thay, us waqt mujhe hosh nahi tha, Aap (SAW) ne wuzu kiya aur apne wuzu ka bacha hua pani mujh par dala to mujhe hosh aagaya, main nearz kiya : aye Allah ke Rasool! meri warasat kis ke liye hai, mera waris kalala hai? to faraiz ki ayat nazil hui.
(1119) Sayyida Maimuna (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates regarding the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ritual bath, that when he finished, he moved aside and washed his feet. I offered him a cloth but he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) refused and was wiping the water with his own hand.

(١١١٩) سیدہ میمونہ (رض) آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے غسل کا تذکرہ فرماتی ہیں کہ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فارغ ہوئے تو الگ ہوئے اور اپنے پاؤں کو دھویا۔ میں نے آپ کو کپڑا دیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انکار کردیا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنے ہاتھ سے پانی صاف کررہے تھے۔
Sayyida Maimoona (Razi Allah Anha) aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke ghusl ka tazkara farmati hain ke jab aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) farigh huye to alag huye aur apne paon ko dhoya. Main ne aap ko kapra diya to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne inkar kar diya, aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) apne hath se pani saaf kar rahe the.
(1120) (a) Sayyiduna Muadh bin Jabal (RA) narrates that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wiping his face with the edge of a cloth while performing ablution.
(b) Abu Al-Abbas narrates that he heard from Abu Raja that Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal asked him about this hadith, so he wrote it down for him. The Shaykh [Abu Al-Abbas] said: "Its chain of narration is not strong."
(c) It is narrated from Yunus bin Ubaid that sometimes Muhammad bin Sirin would also not use a towel to dry his face.

(١١٢٠) (الف) سیدنا معاذ بن جبل (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دیکھا، جب آپ وضو کرتے تو اپنے چہرے کو کپڑے کے ایک کنارے سے صاف فرماتے۔
(ب) ابوالعباس فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابورجا سے سنا کہ مجھ سے امام احمد بن حنبل نے اس حدیث کے متعلق پوچھا تو انھوں نے اس کو لکھ دیا۔ شیخ کہتے ہیں : اس کی سند قوی نہیں۔
(ج) یونس بن عبید سے روایت ہے کہ بسا اوقات محمد بن سیرین بھی اپنے چہرے کو صاف کرنے کے لیے تولیہ استعمال نہیں کرتے تھے۔

C Younus bin Ubaid se riwayat hai ke basa auqat Muhammad bin سیرین bhi apne chehre ko saaf karne ke liye toliya istemal nahi karte the
Imam Shafi'i (may God have mercy on him) said: If someone asks how it is that it [the water] did not become impure, it should be said to him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution, and there is no doubt that the ablution involved water that touched his clothes, and there is no evidence that he washed his clothes [afterwards], nor did he consider it altered [i.e. impure]. I do not know of anyone among the Muslims who has practiced this [washing clothes after water touched them during ablution]. This matter is understood [in light of the fact] that when water is not touched by impurity, it does not become impure.

(١١٢١) امام شافعی (رح) فرماتے ہیں : اگر کہنے والا کہے کہ کہاں سے وہ نجس نہیں ہوا ؟ تو اسے کہا جائے گا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے وضو کیا اور کچھ شک نہیں کہ وضو اس (پانی) سے جو کپڑے کو لگا اور اس سے کپڑا دھونے کا علم نہیں اور نہ اس نے اس کو متغیر کیا۔ مجھے معلوم نہیں کہ مسلمانوں میں سے کسی نے بھی اس کو استعمال کیا ہو۔ یہ بات تو سمجھ میں آتی ہے کہ جب پانی کو نجاست نہ لگے تو وہ ناپاک نہیں ہوتا۔
1121 Imam Shafi rah farmate hain agar kahne wala kahe keh kahan se woh najis nahi hua to use kaha jaye ga keh Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne wuzu kiya aur kuchh shak nahi keh wuzu us pani se jo kapde ko laga aur us se kapda dhone ka ilm nahi aur na us ne us ko mutagaiyyer kiya mujhe malum nahi keh muslimon mein se kisi ne bhi us ko istemal kiya ho yeh baat to samajh mein aati hai keh jab pani ko najasat na lage to woh napaak nahi hota
Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding the person who performs ghusl (ritual bath) in a container and gets splashed by the water that he had poured into it: that water remains pure but he cannot purify himself with it.

(١١٢٢) سیدنا ابن عباس (رض) اس شخص کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں جو برتن میں غسل کرتا ہے اور اسے اس پانی سے جو برتن میں ڈالا تھا چھینٹے پڑجاتے ہیں وہ پانی پاک ہی لیکن وہ پاک نہیں کرسکتا۔
(1122) sydna ibn abbas (rz) is shakhs k mutaliq farmaty hain jo bartan mein ghusl karta hai aur usay is pani se jo bartan mein dala tha chinty par jaty hain woh pani pak hi lakin woh pak nahi kar sakta.
