Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever performs ablution should cleanse his nose by pressing water into it and blowing it out, and whoever cleans himself with stones should do so an odd number of times."

(٢٣٥) سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” جو شخص وضو کرے تو وہ ناک کو جھاڑے اور جو ڈھیلے استعمال کرے تو وہ طاق عدد میں استعمال کرے۔ “
(235) Syedna Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai keh Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs wuzu kare to woh nak ko jhare aur jo dheele istemal kare to woh taq adad mein istemal kare."
Asim bin Luqait bin Sabra (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from his father that he and his companion went to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). They were both looking for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but they did not find him. So Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) gave them dates and a sweet dish made of flour to eat. They had not been there long when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, walking gracefully, and said, "Has anyone given you two anything to eat?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" Then I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell us about prayer." You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Perform ablution thoroughly, and rinse your fingers, and when you inhale water into your nose, do it thoroughly, except when you are fasting."

(٢٣٦) سیدنا عاصم بن لقیط بن صبرہ (رض) اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ اور ان کا ساتھی سیدہ عائشہ (رض) کے پاس آئے، وہ دونوں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تلاش کر رہے تھے لیکن انھوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو نہ پایا تو سیدہ عائشہ (رض) نے ان کو کھجوریں اور آٹے کا حلوہ کھلایا۔ وہ زیادہ دیر نہیں ٹھہرے تھے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) باوقار انداز میں سے چلتے ہوئے تشریف لائے اور فرمایا : کیا تم دونوں کو کسی نے کوئی چیز کھلائی ہے ؟ میں نے کہا : ہاں اے اللہ کے رسول ! پھر میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! ہمیں نماز کے بارے میں بتائیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” مکمل وضو کرو اور انگلیوں کا خلال کرو اور جب ناک میں پانی چڑھاؤ تو مبالغہ کرو مگر روزے کی حالت میں نہ کرو۔ “
(236) Syedna Asim bin Luqait bin Sabra (RA) apne walid se naql farmate hain ki woh aur unka sathi Syeda Ayesha (RA) ke paas aaye, woh dono Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko talaash kar rahe the lekin unhon ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko na paya to Syeda Ayesha (RA) ne unko khajuren aur aate ka halwa khilaya. Woh zyada dair nahi thehre the ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ba waqar andaz mein se chalte huye tashreef laaye aur farmaya: kya tum dono ko kisi ne koi cheez khilayi hai? Maine kaha: haan aye Allah ke Rasul! Phir maine kaha: aye Allah ke Rasul! Humein namaz ke bare mein bataein. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: “mukammal wuzu karo aur ungliyon ka khilal karo aur jab naak mein pani charhao to mubalagha karo magar roze ki halat mein na karo.”
(238) It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded to gargle and rinse the nose. Hasan.
(b) Sometimes the narrator narrates this Hadith as mursal (without mentioning the link of Sayyidina Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him)). The Shaikh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: In my opinion, he narrated it once as mursal and the other time as musnad (with a complete chain of narration).
(c) Dawood bin Muhayyir also follows him in narrating it as musnad. Apart from them, all other narrators narrate it as mursal.
(d) The Shaikh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The narration of this Hadith as musnad has been opposed by Yaqub bin Sufyan's teacher, Ibrahim bin Khalal. He says: Both the narrators are not reliable.

(٢٣٨) سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کلی کرنے اور ناک میں پانی چڑھانے کا حکم دیا۔ حسن۔
(ب) بعض اوقات راوی اس حدیث کو سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رض) کا واسطہ چھوڑ کر مرسل بیان کرتا ہے۔ شیخ فرماتے ہیں : میرے گمان کے مطابق اس نے ایک دفعہ مرسل اور دوسری مرتبہ موصولاً بیان کیا۔
(ج) داؤد بن محیر بھی موصول بیان کرنے میں ان کی متابعت کرتے ہیں۔ ان کے علاوہ باقی تمام رواۃ مرسل بیان کرتے ہیں۔
(د) شیخ (رح) فرماتے ہیں : اس حدیث کو موصولاً بیان کرنے والے رواۃ کی یعقوب بن سفیان کے استاد ابراہیم بن خلال نے مخالفت کی ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں : دونوں راوی غیر محفوظ ہیں۔
(238) Syedna Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne kulli karne aur naak mein pani charhane ka hukum diya. Hasan.
(b) Baaz auqaat ravi is hadees ko Syedna Abu Hurairah (RA) ka wasita chhor kar mursal bayan karta hai. Sheikh farmate hain : Mere gumaan ke mutabiq usne ek dafa mursal aur dusri martaba mausulan bayan kiya.
(c) Dawud bin Muhair bhi mausul bayan karne mein un ki mutaba'at karte hain. Un ke ilawa baqi tamam ruwat mursal bayan karte hain.
(d) Sheikh (RA) farmate hain : Is hadees ko mausulan bayan karne wale ravi ki Yaqub bin Sufyan ke ustaad Ibrahim bin Khalal ne mukhalifat ki hai. Woh kehte hain : Donon ravi ghair mahfooz hain.
(239) (a) It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidah 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Rinsing the mouth and sniffing water into the nose are obligatory in ablution."
(b) 'Issam narrated it similarly, but he also said that prayer is not complete without ablution.
(c) Muslim bin Musa from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrates: "Whoever performs ablution, let him rinse his mouth and sniff water into his nose."
Grade: Da'if
(٢٣٩) (الف) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” وضو میں کلی کرنا اور ناک میں پانی چڑھانا فرض ہے۔ “
(ب) عصام نے بھی اسی طرح بیان کیا ہے، مگر وہ یہ بھی کہتے ہیں کہ وضو کے بغیر نماز مکمل نہیں ہوتی۔
(ج) مسلمان بن موسیٰ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے مرسل بیان کرتے ہیں : ” جو شخص وضو کرے تو وہ کلی کرے اور ناک میں پانی چڑھائے۔ “
(239) (alif) Sayyidah Aaishah (raz) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : "Wuzu mein kuli karna aur naak mein pani charhana farz hai."
(be) Issam ne bhi isi tarah bayan kiya hai, magar woh yeh bhi kehte hain ke wuzu ke baghair namaz mukammal nahin hoti.
(jeem) Musalman bin Moosa Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se mursal bayan karte hain : "Jo shakhs wuzu kare to woh kuli kare aur naak mein pani charhaye."
Sayyiduna Sulayman ibn Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution, then let him rinse his mouth and sniff water into his nose."
Grade: Da'if
(٢٤٠) سیدنا سلیمان بن موسیٰ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” جو شخص وضو کرے تو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ کلی کرے اور ناک میں پانی چڑھائے۔ “
Sayyidna Sulaiman bin Musa (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs wuzu kare to use chahiye ki woh kuli kare aur nak mein pani charhaye."
