Chapter on the dislike of carrying weapons during the days of Hajj and bringing them into the Haram without need.
باب كراهية حمل السلاح في أيام الحج وإدخاله الحرم من غير حاجة
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 9697
Saeed said: I was present when Al-Hajjaj visited Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) to inquire about his health. He said: "How are you?" He said: "Fine." He said: "Who wounded your leg?" He said: "The one who ordered the bearing of arms on a day when it was not permissible, meaning Al-Hajjaj." He said: "If we find out who it was, we will punish him," when in fact, the people had gone out on the Night of `Aqabah (the night following `Arafah) and one of Al-Hajjaj's guards who had been standing there, holding his spear, had struck Ibn `Umar's foot with it, and he had been suffering from it ever since, until he died.

(٩٦٩٧) سعید کہتے ہیں کہ حجاج، ابن عمر (رض) کی عیادت کرنے کے لیے آیا تو میں بھی وہاں موجود تھا، اس نے پوچھا : کیسی طبیعت ہے ؟ تو انھوں نے کہا : ٹھیک ہے، اس نے پوچھا : آپ کی ٹانگ کو کس نے زخمی کیا ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : جس نے ایسے دن میں اسلحہ اٹھانے کا کہا جس دن اس کا اٹھانا جائز نہیں، یعنی حجاج نے۔ وہ کہنے لگا : اگر ہم اس کو جان لیں تو اسے سزا دیں گے اور بات اصل میں یہ تھی کہ لوگ نفر والی رات چلے گئے اور حجاج کے پہرے داروں میں سے کسی ایک نے جو کہ اپنا نیزہ پھیلائے کھڑا تھا، ابن عمر کے پاؤں کے اوپر والی جانب پر مارا تو وہ اسی تکلیف میں مبتلا رہے حتیٰ کہ فوت ہوگئے۔
(9697) Saeed kahte hain ki Hajjaj, Ibn Umar (RA) ki ayadat karne ke liye aaya to main bhi wahan maujood tha, usne poocha : kaisi tabiyat hai ? to unhon ne kaha : theek hai, usne poocha : aap ki taang ko kisne zakhmi kiya hai ? unhon ne kaha : jisne aise din mein hathiyar uthane ka kaha jis din uska uthana jaiz nahin, yani Hajjaj ne. wo kahne laga : agar hum usko jaan len to use saza denge aur baat asl mein yeh thi ki log nafar wali raat chale gaye aur Hajjaj ke pahre daron mein se kisi ek ne jo ki apna neza phelaye khara tha, Ibn Umar ke paon ke upar wali janib par mara to woh usi takleef mein mubtala rahe hatta ke فوت ho gaye.
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I was with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) when the tip of a spear hit his foot from below, and the lower part of his foot got stuck in the stirrup. He got down and took it out. It was the night of Mina. When this news reached Hajjaj, he came to visit him and said: "I wish we knew who hit you." Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "You hit me." He said: "How?" He replied: "You carried weapons on a day when they should not be carried, and you entered the Sanctuary with weapons when weapons should not be brought inside." [Sahih al-Bukhari 923]

(٩٦٩٨) سعید بن جبیر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں ابن عمر (رض) کے ساتھ تھا، جب ان کو پاؤں کے نیچے نیزے کی نوک لگی تو ان کے پاؤں کا نیچے والا حصہ رکاب میں پھنس گیا تو وہ اترے اور اس کو نکالا، یہ منیٰ کی رات تھی، یہ خبر جب حجاج کو ملی تو وہ عیادت کرنے کے لیے آیا اور کہنے لگا : کاش ! ہمیں پتہ چل جائے کہ آپ کو یہ کس نے مارا ہے تو ابن عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : تو نے ہی مجھے مارا ہے، وہ کہنے لگا : کیسے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : تو نے ایسے دن میں اسلحہ اٹھایا ہے جس دن وہ اٹھایا نہ جاتا تھا اور تو نے حرم میں اسلحہ داخل کردیا ہے جب کہ اسلحہ حرم میں داخل نہ ہوتا تھا۔ [صحیح۔ بخاری ٩٢٣]
(9698) Saeed bin Jubair (RA) farmate hain ki main Ibn Umar (RA) ke sath tha, jab un ko paon ke niche neze ki nok lagi to un ke paon ka niche wala hissa rakab mein phans gaya to woh utre aur us ko nikala, yeh Mina ki raat thi, yeh khabar jab hujjaj ko mili to woh aiyadat karne ke liye aaya aur kahne laga: Kash! humain pata chal jaye ki aap ko yeh kis ne mara hai to Ibn Umar (RA) ne farmaya: Tu ne hi mujhe mara hai, woh kahne laga: Kaise? unhon ne kaha: Tu ne aise din mein aslaha uthaya hai jis din woh uthaya na jata tha aur tu ne haram mein aslaha dakhil kardiya hai jab keh aslaha haram mein dakhil na hota tha. [Sahih Bukhari 923].
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: “It is not permissible for any one of you to carry arms in Makkah.”

(٩٦٩٩) جابر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا : ” تم میں سے کسی کے لیے مکہ میں اسلحہ اٹھانا جائز نہیں ہے۔ “
(9699) jabir (rz) farmate hain ki maine rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko ye farmate huye suna : " tum mein se kisi ke liye makkah mein aslaha uthana jaiz nahin hai ".
