(8750) Abu Saleh Hanafi narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Performing Hajj is Jihad and Umrah is Nafl.
The Sheikh says: The Hadith of Shu'bah from Hawiya bin Ishaq from Abu Saleh from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) is Mawsool (connected), and the chain of narration up to Shu'bah is weak.

(٨٧٥٠) ابوصالح حنفی فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : حج کرنا جہاد ہے اور عمرہ نفل ہے۔
شیخ فرماتے ہیں : حدیث شعبہ عن ہاویہ بن اسحاق عن ابی صالح عن ابوہریرہ (رض) موصول ہے اور شعبہ تک سند ضعیف ہے۔
(8750) Abu Saleh Hanafi farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Hajj karna jihad hai aur Umrah nafl hai.
Sheikh farmate hain: Hadees Shaba an Hawiya bin Ishaq an Abi Saleh an Abu Hurairah (RA) mausul hai aur Shaba tak sanad zaeef hai.
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Is Umrah obligatory and Fard (compulsory) like Hajj? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: No, but it is better for you if you perform Umrah.

(٨٧٥١) جابر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! کیا عمرہ واجب ہے اور حج کی طرح فرض ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : نہیں، لیکن اگر عمرہ کرلو تو تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے۔
(8751) Jabir (RA) farmate hain keh maine kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool (SAW)! Kya Umrah wajib hai aur Hajj ki tarah farz hai? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Nahi, lekin agar Umrah karlo to tumhare liye behtar hai.
(8752) Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a person asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): Is Umrah compulsory? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: No, but it is better for you if you perform Umrah.

(٨٧٥٢) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھا : کیا عمرہ واجب ہے ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : نہیں اور اگر تو عمرہ کرلے تو یہ تیرے لیے بہتر ہے۔
(8752) jabir bin abdullah (rz) farmate hain ke aik shakhs ne rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se poocha : kya umrah wajib hai ? to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : nahi aur agar tu umrah karle to ye tere liye behtar hai.
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked: Is Umrah obligatory and Fard (compulsory) like Hajj? He said: No, but if you perform Umrah then it is better for you.

(٨٧٥٣) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) سے سوال کیا گیا : کیا عمرہ واجب ہے اور حج کی طرح فرض ہے ؟ تو انھوں نے کہا : نہیں، لیکن اگر تو عمرہ کرلے تو تیرے لیے بہتر ہے۔
8753 Jaber bin Abdullah (RA) se sawal kiya gaya : kya Umrah wajib hai aur Hajj ki tarah farz hai ? to unhon ne kaha : nahin, lekin agar tu Umrah karle to tere liye behtar hai.
Abdullah bin Aun used to recite this verse: { واتموا الحج والعمرة لله } "And complete the Hajj and 'Umrah for Allah." So he would say that it is obligatory. And Imam Sha'bi used to recite this verse and say that it is supererogatory (nafl).

(٨٧٥٤) عبداللہ بن عون یہ آیت پڑھتے : { وَأَتِمُّوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَۃَ لِلَّہِ } ” حج و عمرہ کو اللہ کے لیے مکمل کرو۔ “ تو فرماتے کہ یہ واجب ہے اور یہی آیت امام شعبی پڑھتے اور فرماتے ہیں یہ نفل ہے۔
(8754) Abdullah bin Aun ye ayat parhte : { wa atimu al-hajja wa al-umrata lillahi } ” Hajj o Umrah ko Allah ke liye mukammal karo “ to farmate hain ke ye wajib hai aur yahi ayat Imam Shabi parhte aur farmate hain ye nafl hai.
