Qatadah said that I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the recitation of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he said that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would prolong it (the recitation).

(٢٤٢٢) قتادہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے انس (رض) سے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی قراءت کی بابت سوال کیا تو انھوں نے فرمایا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) لمبا کر کے پڑھتے تھے۔
Qatadah farmate hain ke maine Anas (RA) se Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki qirat ki babat sawal kiya to unhon ne farmaya ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) lamba kar ke parhte thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the recitation of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was "Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem," and 'Uffan described the manner of his recitation by saying that he would pronounce each letter clearly and prolong the sound of each letter.

(٢٤٢٣) ام المومنین سیدہ ام سلمہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی قراءت { بِسْمِ اللَّہِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِیمِ } تھی اور عفان نے آپ کی قراءت کی کیفیت بیان کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ آپ ایک ایک حرف واضح کر کے پڑھتے تھے اور ہر حرف کی آواز کو لمبا کرتے۔
Am ul momineen sayyidah umm e salmah (RA) se riwayat hai ke nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki qirat {Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem} thi aur ufan ne aap ki qirat ki kaifiyat bayan karte hue farmaya ke aap aik aik harf wazih kar ke parhte thay aur har harf ki awaz ko lamba karte.
Abu Ayyub Mu'awiya ibn Qurra reported that he heard Abdullah ibn Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) say: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) riding his she-camel, or camel, it was walking, and he was reciting Surat al-Fath in a soft voice, or with a melodious tone.

(٢٤٢٤) ابو ایاس معاویہ بن قرۃ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن مغفل (رض) کو فرماتے سنا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دیکھا کہ آپ اپنی اونٹنی یا اونٹ پر سوار تھے، وہ چل رہی تھی اور آپ سورة فتح کی نرمی سے یا ترجیع کے ساتھ تلاوت فرما رہے تھے۔
(2424) Abu Ayas Muawiya bin Qarat farmate hain keh maine Abdullah bin Mughfal (RA) ko farmate suna keh maine Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko dekha keh aap apni untni ya unt par sawar thay, woh chal rahi thi aur aap Surah Fath ki narmi se ya tarjee ke sath tilawat farma rahe thay.
Abdullah bin ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “On the Day of Resurrection, the one who memorized the Qur’an will be told to recite and ascend and beautify your voice as you used to beautify it in the world, for your position will be at the last verse you recite.”

(٢٤٢٥) عبداللہ بن عمرو (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : حافظ قرآن سے قیامت کے دن کہا جائے گا کہ پڑھتا جا اور چڑھتا جا اور ٹھہر ٹھہر کر پڑھ جس طرح تو دنیا میں ٹھہر ٹھہر کر پڑھتا تھا۔ تیری منزل وہ ہے جہاں تیری آخری آیت ختم ہوگی۔
(2425) Abdullah bin Amro (RA) se riwayat hai keh aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Hafiz Quran se qayamat ke din kaha jayega keh parhta ja aur charhta ja aur thehar thehar kar parh jis tarah tu duniya mein thehar thehar kar parhta tha. Teri manzil woh hai jahan teri aakhri ayat khatam hogi.
(2426) Narrated Bara bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Recite the Quran in your beautiful voices.

(٢٤٢٦) حضرت براء بن عازب (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قرآن کو اپنی خوبصورت آوازوں میں تلاوت کیا کرو۔
(2426) Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (RA) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Quran ko apni khoobsurat aawazon mein tilawat kiya karo.
(2427) (a) Narrated by Bara' bin 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Beautify the Qur'an with your voices."
(b) 'Abdur-Rahman said: "I forgot this word, then Dhahak bin Muzahim reminded me of it."
(c) In the narration of Abu Dawud, transmitted from Shu'bah, he said: "I forgot this letter, then Dhahak bin Muzahim reminded me of it."

(٢٤٢٧) (ا) سیدنا براء بن عازب (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قرآن کو اپنی آوازوں کے ساتھ مزین کر کے پڑھو۔
(ب) عبدالرحمن کہتے ہیں کہ میں یہ کلمہ بھول چکا تھا، پھر مجھے ضحاک بن مزاحم نے یاد دلایا۔
(ج) ابوداؤد کی روایت میں شعبہ سے منقول ہے کہ میں یہ حرف بھول چکا تھا، پھر ضحاک بن مزاحم نے مجھے یاد دہانی کروائی۔
2427 A Syedna Bara bin Azib (RA) se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Quran ko apni aawazon ke sath mazeen kar ke parho.
B Abdul Rahman kehte hain ke mein yeh kalma bhul chuka tha phir mujhe Zihak bin Muzahim ne yaad dilaya.
C Abu Dawood ki riwayat mein Shubah se manqol hai ke mein yeh harf bhul chuka tha phir Zihak bin Muzahim ne mujhe yaad dihani karwai.
Abu Salama (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "Allah has not emphasized anything to me as much as He has emphasized reciting the Quran in a beautiful voice."

(٢٤٢٨) حضرت ابو سلمہ (رض) ، ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے جتنی تاکید اپنے نبی کو قرآن خوبصورت آواز میں پڑھنے کے بارے میں فرمائی اتنی اور کسی چیز کے بارے میں نہیں فرمائی۔
(2428) Hazrat Abu Salma (RA), Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat karte hain ke unhon ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko farmate huye suna ke Allah Ta'ala ne jitni takid apne Nabi ko Quran khoobsurat aawaz mein padhne ke bare mein farmaee utni aur kisi cheez ke bare mein nahin farmaee.
Ubaidullah bin Abi Yazid said: Abu Lubabah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by us and we followed him. He entered his house and we went in with him. There was a man reciting the Quran haltingly. When you (Abu Lubabah) saw this, you said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'The one who does not recite the Quran melodiously is not one of us.' I said to Ibn Abi Malikah: 'O Abu Muhammad! What should a person do if his voice is not beautiful?' He said: 'Let him try to make it beautiful.'

(٢٤٢٩) (ا) عبیداللہ بن ابی یزید کہتے ہیں کہ ابو لبابہ (رض) ہمارے پاس سے گزرے تو ہم بھی ان کے پیچھے ہو لیے۔ وہ اپنے گھر میں داخل ہوگئے۔ ہم بھی ان کے پاس چلے گئے۔ وہاں ایک آدمی قرآن مجید ہکلا کر پڑھ رہا تھا ۔ آپ (رض) نے یہ دیکھا تو فرمایا : میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا : جو شخص قرآن کو خوش الحانی سے نہیں پڑھتا وہ ہم میں سے نہیں۔ میں نے ابن ابی ملیکۃ سے کہا : اے ابو محمد ! جب آدمی کی آواز ہی خوبصورت نہ ہو تو وہ کیا کرے ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا : اس کو خوبصورت بنانے کی کوشش کرے۔
2429 a Ubaidullah bin Abi Yazid kahte hain ki Abu Lababa (Raz) hamare pas se guzre to hum bhi un ke peechhe ho liye woh apne ghar mein dakhil hogaye hum bhi un ke pas chale gaye wahan ek aadmi Quran Majeed hakla kar parh raha tha aap (Raz) ne ye dekha to farmaya main ne Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko farmate huye suna jo shakhs Quran ko khush alhani se nahi parhta woh hum mein se nahi main ne Ibn e Abi Mulayka se kaha ae Abu Muhammad jab aadmi ki aawaz hi khoobsurat na ho to woh kya kare unhon ne farmaya is ko khoobsurat banane ki koshish kare
Abu Jumayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I said to Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), "I recite the Qur'an rapidly." Ibn 'Abbas said, "For me to recite Surat Al-Baqarah with contemplation and proper recitation is better than to recite the whole Qur'an hastily."

(٢٤٣٠) ابوجمرۃ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عباس (رض) سے کہا : میں قرآن کو جلدی جلدی میں پڑھتا ہوں تو ابن عباس (رض) نے فرمایا : میں صرف سورة بقرہ ٹھہر ٹھہر کر پڑھوں، یہ میرے لیے اس سے کہیں بہتر ہے کہ مکمل قرآن کریم جلدی جلدی پڑھوں۔
Abu Jumaira (RA) se riwayat hai ki maine Sayyidna Ibn Abbas (RA) se kaha : mein Quran ko jaldi jaldi mein parhta hun to Ibn Abbas (RA) ne farmaya : mein sirf Surah Baqarah thehr thehr kar parhun, yeh mere liye is se kahin behtar hai ki mukammal Quran Kareem jaldi jaldi parhun.
(2431) It is narrated from Ibrahim Nakha'i that 'Alqama recited the Qur'an in front of Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him). His voice was also very beautiful, so he (Abdullah bin Mas'ud) said, "May my parents be sacrificed for you, this is the beauty of the Qur'an."

(٢٤٣١) ابراہیم نخعی سے روایت ہے کہ علقمہ نے عبداللہ بن مسعود (رض) کے سامنے تلاوت کی، ان کی آواز بھی بہت خوبصورت تھی تو انھوں نے فرمایا : تجھ پر میرے ماں باپ قربان ہوں، قرآن کا حسن و جمال یہی ہے۔
2431 ibrahim nakhai se riwayat hai ki alqama ne abdullah bin masood (rz) ke samne tilawat ki un ki aawaz bhi bohat khoobsurat thi to unhon ne farmaya tujh par mere maan baap qurban hon quran ka husn o jamal yahi hai
