Chapter on the Congregant Audibly Making Assurance
باب جهر المأموم بالتأمين
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2453
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Rafi' that Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) was the mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer) of Marwan ibn al-Hakam. He (the mu'adhdhin) used to make it a point not to say "wa la 'd-dallin" (nor of those who go astray) until he saw Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) had joined the row (for prayer). When he (the mu'adhdhin) uttered "wa la 'd-dallin," Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) would say, prolonging his voice, "Amin." He (Abu Huraira) used to say that when the "Amin" of the dwellers of the earth synchronizes with the "Amin" of the dwellers of heaven, the dwellers of the earth are pardoned.

(٢٤٥٣) ابو رافع سے روایت ہے کہ ابوہریرہ (رض) مروان بن حکم کے مؤذن تھے۔ اس نے طے کر رکھا تھا کہ اس وقت تک { وَلاَ الضَّالِّینَ } نہ کہے جب تک اسے علم نہ ہوجائے کہ ابوہریرہ (رض) صف میں شامل ہوچکے گئے ہیں، چنانچہ مروان جب { وَلاَ الضَّالِّینَ } کہتا تو ابوہریرہ (رض) اپنی آواز کو لمبا کرتے ہوئے کہتے : آمین ۔ آپ (رض) فرماتے تھے کہ جب اہل زمین کی آمین آسمان والوں کی آمین کے موافق ہوجائے تو اہل زمین کی بخشش ہوجاتی ہے۔
2453 Abu Rafi se riwayat hai ke Abu Hurairah Marwan bin Hakam ke muazzin thay Us ne tay kar rakha tha ke us waqt tak wala aldaal leen na kahe jab tak use ilm na ho jae ke Abu Hurairah saf mein shamil ho chuke hain chunancha Marwan jab wala aldaal leen kahta to Abu Hurairah apni awaz ko lamba karte huye kahte Aameen Aap farmate thay ke jab ahle zameen ki Aameen aasman walon ki Aameen ke muwafiq ho jae to ahle zameen ki bakhshish ho jati hai
(2454) (a) It is narrated from Ata that I heard from Ibn Zubair and the Imams after him that they would say Ameen and those praying behind them would also say Ameen, so much so that the Masjid would echo with it.
(b) It is also narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he would say Ameen in a loud voice, whether he was leading the prayer or praying behind the Imam.

(٢٤٥٤) (ا) عطاء سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے ابن زبیر اور ان کے بعد والے ائمہ سے سنا کہ وہ بھی آمین کہتے اور ان کے مقتدی بھی آمین کہتے، حتیٰ کہ مسجد گونج اٹھتی۔
(ب) ابن عمر (رض) سے بھی منقول ہے کہ وہ اونچی آواز سے آمین کہتے خواہ امام ہوں یا مقتدی۔
2454 a ata se riwayat hai ke maine ibn zubair aur un ke baad wale aima se suna ke wo bhi ameen kehte aur un ke muqtadi bhi ameen kehte hatta ke masjid goonj uthti b ibn umar raz se bhi manqol hai ke wo oonchi aawaz se ameen kehte khwah imam hon ya muqtadi
(2455) (a) It is narrated from Ata' (RA) that I saw two hundred Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) in this mosque, when the Imam recited { غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَیْہِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّینَ } they would say Ameen, and I would hear the echo of their Ameen.
(b) Ishaq Hanthali narrated from Ali bin Hasan, in it is that the Companions would raise their voices with Ameen.

(٢٤٥٥) (ا) عطا (رح) سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے اس مسجد میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے دو سو صحابہ کو دیکھا ہے کہ جب امام { غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَیْہِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّینَ } کہتا تو یہ آمین کہتے اور ان کی آمین کی میں گونج سنتا تھا۔
(ب) اسحاق حنظلی نے علی بن حسن سے روایت کیا ہے ، اس میں ہے کہ صحابہ نے آمین کے ساتھ اپنی آوازیں بلند کیں۔
