Narrated Khabab bin Al-Aratt (RA): We complained to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the intense heat, saying that our foreheads and palms were burning. But he (ﷺ) did not accept our complaint.

(٢٦٥٧) سیدنا خباب بن ارت (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ہم نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سخت دھوپ کی شکایت کی کہ ہماری پیشانی اور ہتھیلیاں جلتی ہیں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہماری شکایت تسلیم نہیں کی۔
2657 sydna khubaab bin art (rz) se riwayat hai ki hum ne rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se sakht dhoop ki shikayat ki ki hamari peshani aur hatheliyan jalti hain to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne hamari shikayat tasleem nahin ki.
(2658) (a) It is narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I used to pray the Zuhr prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I would hold a handful of pebbles in my hand so that they would cool down, and I would place them on my place of prostration so that I could prostrate on them, avoiding the heat of the ground.
(b) Imam Bayhaqi says that if it were permissible to prostrate on a garment that was worn, then that would have been easier than cooling the pebbles in one's hands and then placing them at the place of prostration.

(٢٦٥٨) (ا) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ ظہر کی نماز پڑھتا تھا۔ میں اپنے ہاتھ میں مٹھی بھر کنکریاں پکڑ لیا کرتا تھا، تاکہ وہ ٹھنڈی ہوجائیں اور میں انھیں اپنے سجدہ کی جگہ پر رکھتا تھا تاکہ گرمی کی تپش سے بچتے ہوئے میں ان پر سجدہ کروں۔
(ب) امام بیہقی فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر کسی ایسے کپڑے پر جو ساتھ ملا ہوتا (ہر) سجدہ کرنا جائز ہوتا تو یہ ہاتھوں میں کنکریاں ٹھنڈی کرنے سے اور اسی طرح ان کو مقام سجدہ پر رکھنے سے زیادہ آسان ہوتا۔
2658 a Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) se riwayat hai ki main Rasul Allah (SAW) ke sath Zuhr ki namaz parhta tha main apne hath mein muthi bhar kankriyan pakad liya karta tha taake woh thandi hojain aur main unhein apne sajda ki jagah par rakhta tha taake garmi ki tapash se bachtay huay main un par sajda karoon b Imam Bayhaqi farmate hain ki agar kisi aise kapray par jo sath mila hota har sajda karna jaiz hota to ye hathon mein kankriyan thandi karne se aur isi tarah un ko maqam sajda par rakhne se ziada asan hota
(2659) (a) It is narrated from Salih bin Khiwan Saba'i that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a man prostrating on his side, and he was covering his forehead. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) uncovered his forehead.
(b) It is narrated from 'Iyaadh bin 'Abdillah Qurashi that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a man prostrating on his turban, so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured with his hand and said: "Move your turban back," and he pointed to his forehead.

(٢٦٥٩) (ا) صالح بن خیوان سبائی سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک آدمی کو اپنے پہلو کے بل سجدہ کرتے دیکھا، وہ اپنی پیشانی کو ڈھانپے ہوئے تھا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کی پیشانی کو کھول دیا۔
(ب) عیاض بن عبداللہ قرشی سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا جو اپنی پگڑی پر سجدہ کرر رہا تھا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اشارہ کرتے ہوئے فرمایا : اپنے عمامہ کو پیچھے کرو اور آپ نے اس کی پیشانی کی طرف اشارہ کیا۔
2659 a Saleh bin Khiwan Sabai se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ko apne pehlu ke bal sajda karte dekha woh apni peshani ko dhaampe hue tha Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uski peshani ko khol diya
b Ayaz bin Abdullah Qarshi se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek shakhs ko dekha jo apni pagri par sajda kar raha tha to Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se ishara karte hue farmaya apne amama ko peeche karo aur aap ne uski peshani ki taraf ishara kiya
It is narrated on the authority of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that when one of you offers prayer, he should move his turban or head covering back from his forehead.

(٢٦٦٠) حضرت علی (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز پڑھے تو وہ اپنی پیشانی سے پگڑی یا عمامہ وغیرہ کو پیچھے کر دے۔
(2660) Hazrat Ali (RA) se riwayat hai ki jab tum mein se koi namaz parhe to woh apni peshani se pagri ya amama waghaira ko peeche kar de.
Narrated `Ubaidullah bin `Umar: When `Abdullah bin `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) prostrated (in prayer) and he had a turban on his head, he used to fold his turban and put his forehead on the ground.

(٢٦٦١) سیدنا عبیداللہ بن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) جب سجدہ کرتے اور ان کے سر پر پگڑی ہوتی تو پگڑی کو پیچھے کر کے اپنی پیشانی زمین پر لگاتے۔
(2661) Syedna Obaidullah bin Umar (RA) se riwayat hai ki Syedna Abdullah bin Umar (RA) jab sajdah karte aur un ke sar par pagri hoti to pagri ko peechhe kar ke apni peshani zameen par lagate.
Narrated Sayyidina Ubadah ibn Samit (may Allah be pleased with him): When he would stand for prayer, he would remove his turban from his forehead and place it behind him.

(٢٦٦٢) سیدنا عبادۃ بن صامت (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ جب وہ نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے تو اپنی پیشانی سے پگڑی کو ہٹا کر پیچھے کرلیتے۔
(2662) Syedna Ubadah bin Samit (RA) se riwayat hai ki jab woh namaz ke liye kharay hote to apni peshani se pagri ko hata kar peeche karlete.
