Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr narrated from his father that Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in prayer wearing a single garment. He had no other cloth on him. When he finished the prayer, he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) leading the prayer in a similar garment.

(٣٢٩١) محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر اپنے والد سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) نے ہمیں ایک قمیص میں امامت کروائی۔ آپ (رض) پر کوئی اور چادر نہ تھی۔ جب انھوں نے نماز سے سلام پھیرا تو فرمایا : میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو قمیص میں نماز پڑھتے دیکھا ہے۔
3291 Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr apne walid se naql karte hain ki Sayyidna Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) ne hamen ek qamees mein imamat karwai Aap (RA) par koi aur chadar na thi Jab unhon ne namaz se salam phera to farmaya main ne Rasul Allah (SAW) ko qamees mein namaz parhte dekha hai
(3292) (a) Narrated Abdullah bin Buraidah (RA): I heard the wife of the Messenger, the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Um Salamah (RA) saying that the most beloved garment to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was the Qamees (shirt).
(b) According to one narration, he does not narrate directly from Um Salamah (RA), rather his mother narrated it.

(٣٢٩٢) (ا) عبداللہ بن بریدہ (رض) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے زوجہ رسول ام المومنین سیدہ ام سلمہ (رض) سے سنا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کپڑوں میں قمیص سے زیادہ محبوب کوئی لباس نہ تھا۔
(ب) ایک قول کے مطابق وہ خود ام سلمہ (رض) سے روایت نہیں کرتے بلکہ ان کی والدہ نقل کرتی ہیں۔
(3292) (a) Abdullah bin Buraidah (Razi Allah Anhu) bayan karte hain ke maine zauja Rasool Ummul Momineen Sayyidah Umm Salma (Razi Allah Anha) se suna ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko kapdon mein qamees se zyada mahboob koi libas na tha.
(b) Ek qaul ke mutabiq wo khud Umm Salma (Razi Allah Anha) se riwayat nahin karte balke unki walida naqal karti hain.
(3293) (a) Abdullah bin Buraidah narrated from his mother, on the authority of Umm al-Mu'minin Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), that no clothing was more beloved to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) than the Qamees (long shirt).
(b) According to one narration, it is narrated from Abdullah bin Buraidah, from his father, from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her).
(c) It has been narrated to us on the authority of Mujahid, that he asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): "Which clothing is most beloved to you, in which I should pray?" He said: "The Qamees."

(٣٢٩٣) (ا) عبداللہ بن بریدہ اپنی والدہ کے واسطے سے ام المومنین ام سلمہ (رض) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ قمیص سے زیادہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کوئی لباس زیادہ محبوب نہ تھا۔
(ب) ایک قول کے مطابق عن عبداللہ بن بریدہ عن ابیہ عن ام سلمہ (رض) بھی ہے۔
(ج) مجاہد کے واسطے سے ہمیں روایت بیان کی گئی کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر (رض) سے پوچھا : آپ کے نزدیک کون سا لباس زیادہ محبوب ہے جس میں میں نماز پڑھا کروں ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا : قمیص۔
