(3439) Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered us to kill two black things even during prayer: a snake and a scorpion.

(٣٤٣٩) ابوہریرہ (رض) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہمیں نماز میں بھی دو سیاہ چیزوں یعنی سانپ اور بچھو کو قتل کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے۔
(3439) Abu Hurairah (RA) bayan karte hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne hamen namaz mein bhi do siyah cheezon yani saanp aur bichhu ko qatal karne ka hukum diya hai.
The wife of the Prophet, Mother of the Believers, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was offering prayer at home when Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah ennoble his face) arrived. When he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying, he stood beside him and began to pray. Suddenly, a scorpion appeared and approached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Leaving him, it went towards Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). When Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) saw this, he killed it with his shoe. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw nothing wrong with killing it.

(٣٤٤٠) زوجہ رسول ام المومنین سیدہ عائشہ (رض) بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) گھر میں نماز ادا کر رہے تھے کہ علی بن ابی طالب کرم اللہ وجہہ تشریف لائے۔ انھوں نے جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو نماز پڑھتے دیکھا تو وہ بھی آپ کے پہلو میں کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھنے لگے۔ اتنے میں ایک بچھو نمودار ہوا اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تک پہنچا ۔ آپ کو چھوڑ کر علی (رض) کی طرف آگیا، جب سیدنا علی (رض) نے یہ ماجرا دیکھا تو اسے اپنے جوتے کے ساتھ مار ڈالا۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کے قتل کرنے میں کوئی حرج محسوس نہیں کیا۔
(3440) Zoja Rasool Ummul Momineen Syeda Ayesha (Razi Allah Tala Anha) bayan karti hain ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ghar mein namaz ada kar rahay thay ke Ali bin Abi Talib (Karam Allahu Wajahu) tashreef laaye. Unhon ne jab Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko namaz parhte dekha to woh bhi aap ke pahlu mein kharay ho kar namaz parhne lage. Itne mein ek bachchu numaydar hua aur Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) tak pahuncha. Aap ko chhor kar Ali (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) ki taraf aagaya, jab Sayyidna Ali (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) ne ye majra dekha to usay apne joote ke sath maar dala. Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne us ke qatal karne mein koi harj mehsoos nahin kya.
(3441) (a) It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: One stroke of your whip is sufficient for a snake, whether you hit it accurately or miss.
(b) If this narration is authentic, then what is meant is the command found in the hadith where the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the killing of snakes. The meaning is that when one misses [the snake] on the first strike, one should not continue to strike it repeatedly, rather one strike is sufficient.

(٣٤٤١) (ا) ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : سانپ کو تیرے کوڑے کی ایک ہی ضرب کافی ہے چاہے تو صحیح نشانے پر لگائے یا خطا ہوجائے۔
(ب) یہ روایت اگر صحیح ہو تو مراد وہ حکم ہے جو حدیث میں ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو قتل کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے اور مطلب یہ ہے کہ جب خطا کے وقت وہ اپنے آپ سے روک نہ لے ، اس کو ایک ضرب سے زیادہ ضربیں نہ ماری جائیں۔
3441 a Abu Huraira RA se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya saanp ko tere kore ki aik hi zarb kaafi hai chahe to sahi nishane par lagaye ya khata hojaye b yeh riwayat agar sahih ho to muraad woh hukm hai jo hadees mein hai keh Rasul Allah SAW ne us ko qatal karne ka hukm diya hai aur matlab yeh hai keh jab khata ke waqt woh apne aap se rok na le us ko aik zarb se ziada zarben na maari jayen
Hadith Number 3442: Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever kills a gecko with one blow will get such and such a reward; and whoever kills it with the second blow, will get such and such a reward less than the first; and whoever kills it with the third blow, will get such and such a reward less than the second.”
(b) In the narration of Khalid, the word 'Ula (first)' is missing, but the rest is the same.

(٣٤٤٢) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جس نے چھپکلی کو پہلی ہی ضرب میں مار دیا تو اس کے لیے اتنا اتنا اجر ہے اور جس نے اسے دوسری ضرب میں قتل کیا تو اس کو بھی اتنا اتنا اجر ملے گا۔ پہلی مرتبہ سے کم اور جو تیسری ضرب میں قتل کرے اس کے لیے اتنا اجر ہے یعنی دوسری ضرب میں مارنے سے کم۔
(ب) خالد کی روایت میں اولیٰ کا لفظ نہیں ہے باقی اسی طرح ہے۔
(3442) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) bayan karte hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Jis ne chhipkali ko pehli hi zarb mein maar diya to us ke liye itna itna ajr hai aur jis ne use dusri zarb mein qatal kiya to us ko bhi itna itna ajr milega. Pehli martaba se kam aur jo teesri zarb mein qatal kare us ke liye itna ajr hai yani dusri zarb mein marne se kam.
(b) Khalid ki riwayat mein ola ka lafz nahin hai baqi isi tarah hai.
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever kills a gecko with one blow will have seventy good deeds."

(٣٤٤٣) سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : چھپکلی کو پہلی ہی ضرب میں مارنے کا ثواب ستر نیکیاں ہیں۔
(3443) Syedna Abu Huraira (RA) se riwayat hai keh aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: chhipkali ko pehli hi zarb mein marne ka sawab satar nekiyan hain.
Abdullah bin Dinar reported: I saw Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). He saw a tiny thing and struck it with his foot saying, "I thought it was a scorpion."

(٣٤٤٤) عبداللہ بن دینار بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) کو دیکھا، انھوں نے کوئی باریک چیز دیکھی تو اس پر اپنا پاؤں مارا اور کہا : میں نے سمجھا یہ بچھو ہے۔
(3444) Abdullah bin Dinaar bayan karte hain ke maine Abdullah bin Umar (RA) ko dekha, unhon ne koi bareek cheez dekhi to us par apna paon mara aur kaha : maine samjha yeh bichhu hai.
