Chapter on the Recommendation of Prostration in Prayer Whenever a Prostration Verse Is Recited
باب استحباب السجود في الصلاة متى ما قرأ فيها آية السجدة
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 3758
(3758) (a) Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I offered the 'Isha' prayer with Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him). He recited Surah Inshiqaq and performed a prostration (sajdah). I asked, "What is this prostration?" He replied, "I performed this prostration with Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and I will continue to do so until I meet him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."
(b) In the narration of 'Isa ibn Yunus (may Allah be pleased with him), the word "'Isha'" is used instead of "'Atmah," and he said: When he finished the prayer with the salam, I said, "O Abu Hurairah! What is this?" He replied, "This is a prostration that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also performed."

(٣٧٥٨) (ا) حضرت ابورافع (رح) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) کے ساتھ نماز عشا پڑھی۔ آپ نے سورة انشقاق کی تلاوت کی اور سجدہ کیا۔ میں نے کہا : یہ کون سا سجدہ ہے ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا : میں نے یہ سجدہ ابوالقاسم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ کیا ہے اور میں ہمیشہ کرتا رہوں گا حتیٰ کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے جا ملوں۔
(ب) حضرت عیسیٰ بن یونس (رح) کی روایت میں ” العتمۃ “ کی جگہ ” العشاء “ کا لفظ ہے اور فرمایا : جب نماز سے سلام پھیرا تو کہا : اے ابوہریرہ ! یہ کیا ہے ؟ تو انھوں نے فرمایا : یہ سجدہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بھی کیا ہے۔
(3758) (a) Hazrat Abu Rafi (rah) bayan karte hain keh maine Hazrat Abu Hurairah (raz) ke sath namaz Isha parhi. Aap ne Surah Inshiqaq ki tilawat ki aur sijda kiya. Maine kaha: Yeh kaun sa sijda hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Maine yeh sijda Abu Al Qasim ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath kiya hai aur main hamesha karta rahunga hatta keh aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se ja milun.
(b) Hazrat Isa bin Younus (rah) ki riwayat mein "al atma" ki jagah "al Isha" ka lafz hai aur farmaya: Jab namaz se salam phera to kaha: Aye Abu Hurairah! Yeh kya hai? To unhon ne farmaya: Yeh sijda Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne bhi kiya hai.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed the prostration of recitation in the first Rak'ah of the Zuhr prayer. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) realized that he had recited Surat As-Sajdah.

(٣٧٥٩) سیدنا ابن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ظہر کی نماز کی پہلی رکعت میں سجدہ تلاوت کیا تو صحابہ (رض) نے دیکھا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے سورة سجدہ پڑھی ہے۔
(3759) syedna ibn umar (rz) se riwayat hai ki nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne zohar ki namaz ki pehli rakat mein sajda tilawat kiya to sahaba (rz) ne dekha ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne sura sajda parhi hai.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (RA): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed a prostration of recitation in the Zuhr prayer. When he stood up, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) thought that he had recited a Surah (chapter of the Quran) in which there is a prostration of recitation.

(٣٧٦٠) سیدنا ابن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ظہر کی نماز میں سجدہ تلاوت کیا۔ پھر کھڑے ہوئے تو صحابہ (رض) نے سمجھا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کوئی ایسی سورت پڑھی ہے جس میں سجدہ تلاوت ہے۔
(3760) Sayyidaana Ibn Umar (RA) se riwayat hai keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Zuhar ki namaz mein Sajdah Tilawat kiya. Phir kharay huay to Sahaba (RA) ne samjha keh aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne koi aisi surat parhi hai jiss mein Sajdah Tilawat hai.
