Chapter on what is mentioned forbidding the prevention of excess water
باب ما جاء في النهي عن منع فضل الماء
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 11843
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Do not forbid (anyone) from (using) surplus water, for you would then prevent (people) from growing fodder.”

(١١٨٤٣) حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : زائد پانی سے منع نہ کیا جائے کہ گھاس اگنے سے روک دی جائے۔
(11843) Hazrat Abu Huraira se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : zaid pani se mana na kia jaye keh ghas ugne se rok di jaye.
(11844) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Do not prevent (people) from (using) surplus water, for that will prevent you from growing vegetation.

(١١٨٤٤) حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : زائد پانی سے منع نہ کیا جائے کہ گھاس اگنے سے روک دی جائے۔
(11844) Hazrat Abu Huraira se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Zaaid pani se mana na kiya jaye ki ghaas ugne se rok di jaye.
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are three people with whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Judgment, nor will He look at them (with mercy), and for them is a painful punishment: [1] A man who falsely seizes the property of a Muslim by taking an oath. [2] A man who takes an oath after the Asr prayer that he has been offered a higher price for his goods than he is being offered now, and he is lying. [3] And a man who withholds excess water." Then Allah will say: "Today I will withhold My favor from you, just as your hand unjustly withheld My favor."

(١١٨٤٥) حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تین آدمی ایسے ہیں کہ قیامت کے دن اللہ ان سے کلام نہیں کرے گا اور نہ ان کی طرف (نظر رحمت سے ) دیکھیں گے اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے : ایک آدمی جو جھوٹی قسم سے کسی مسلمان کا مال ہتھیالے۔ دوسرا وہ آدمی جو عصر کی نماز کے بعد قسم اٹھائے کہ اسے سامان کی قیمت زیادہ دی جا رہی ہے جتنی اب دی جا رہی ہے اور وہ جھوٹا ہے اور وہ آدمی جو زائد پانی روک دے۔ پس اللہ کہتے ہیں : آج میں تجھ سے اپنا فضل روک لوں گا جس طرح تیرے ہاتھ نے کام نہ کر کے میرا فضل روکا۔
11845 Hazrat Abu Huraira se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : teen aadmi aise hain keh qayamat ke din Allah un se kalaam nahin kare ga aur na un ki taraf (nazar e rehmat se ) dekhenge aur un ke liye dardnak azab hai : ek aadmi jo jhooti qasam se kisi musalman ka maal hathya le. Doosra woh aadmi jo asr ki namaz ke baad qasam uthaye keh use saman ki qeemat zyada di ja rahi hai jitni ab di ja rahi hai aur woh jhoota hai aur woh aadmi jo zaid pani rok de. Pas Allah kehte hain : aaj main tujh se apna fazl rok lunga jis tarah tere hath ne kaam na kar ke mera fazl roka.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not withhold the water of a well, for it is shared by all." Abdur-Rahman said: "I heard from my father that Ar-Rahu means that the water of a well is shared, so if a man has excess water, he should not withhold it from another."

(١١٨٤٩) حضرت عائشہ (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتی ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کوئی کنویں کا پانی نہ روکے، وہ تو سب کے لیے مشترک ہے عبدالرحمن کہتے ہیں : میں نے اپنے والد سے سنا کہ الرھو یہ ہے کہ کنواں پانی میں مشترک ہو، پس اگر آدمی کے پاس زائد پانی ہو تو وہ دوسرے صاحب کو نہ روکے۔
11849 Hazrat Aisha (Raz) Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naqal farmati hain ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Koi kuen ka pani na roke, woh to sab ke liye mushtak hai. Abdul Rahman kahte hain: Maine apne walid se suna ke alrhu ye hai ke kuen pani mein mushtak ho, pas agar aadmi ke pass zaid pani ho to woh dusre sahib ko na roke.
Narrated Aisha (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not withhold surplus water, and do not prevent (others) from drawing water from your wells."
Grade: Sahih
(١١٨٥٠) حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : زائد پانی سے نہ روکا جائے اور نہ کنویں کے پانی سے روکا جائے۔
(11850) Hazrat Ayesha (RA) se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : zaid pani se na roka jaye aur na kuen ke pani se roka jaye.
Narrated Hasan (RA): A man came to some people who had water. He asked them for water, but they did not give him any, so he died of thirst. 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA) made them pay the blood money for his death.

(١١٨٥١) حضرت حسن (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی پانی والوں کے پاس آیا، اس نے ان سے پانی مانگا تو انھوں نے نہ پلایا، یہاں تک کہ وہ پیاس کی شدت سے مرگیا تو عمر بن خطاب نے ان پر دیت ڈال دی۔
Hazrat Hasan (RA) se riwayat hai ki ek aadmi pani walon ke paas aaya, usne unse pani manga to unhon ne na pilaya, yahan tak ki woh pyaas ki shiddat se mar gaya to Umar bin Khattab ne un par deet daal di.
