Hasan reported a tradition from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning a man who withholds Zakat and Hajj until death overtakes him. Hasan used to say: “He will be confronted with his Hajj and Zakat first.” Later he said: “Do not leave him with any honor (worldly possessions) so that it becomes someone else’s property and he says, ‘Perform Hajj on my behalf and pay Zakat on my behalf.’”

(١٢٥٩٨) حسن سے اس آدمی کے بارے میں روایت ہے جو زکوۃ اور حج میں کوتاہی کرے یہاں تک کہ موت آجائے۔ حسن کہتے تھے : حج اور زکوۃ سے ابتدا کی جائے گی، پھر بعد میں کہا : اسے عزت کے طور پر نہ چھوڑیں کہ مال اس کے علاوہ کا ہوجائے اور وہ کہے کہ میری طرف سے حج کیا جائے اور میری طرف سے زکوۃ دی جائے۔
(12598) Hasan se is aadmi ke baare mein riwayat hai jo zakat aur Hajj mein kotahi kare yahan tak ke mout aajae. Hasan kahte the: Hajj aur zakat se ibtida ki jaegi, phir baad mein kaha: use izzat ke tor par na chhoden ke maal iske alawa ka hojae aur wo kahe ke meri taraf se Hajj kia jae aur meri taraf se zakat di jae.
Hasan was asked about a man who made a bequest for Hajj on his behalf. Hasan said, "If he had performed Hajj (during his lifetime), then the bequest will be fulfilled from one-third (of his wealth). And if he had not performed Hajj, then Hajj will be performed from all of his wealth, whether he made a bequest or not. It is a debt upon him."

(١٢٥٩٩) حسن سے اس آدمی کے بارے میں روایت ہے جو اپنی طرف سے حج کی وصیت کرے۔ حسن نے کہا : اگر اس نے حج کیا تھا تو ثلث سے وصیت پوری ہوگی اور اگر نہ کیا تھا تو سارے مال سے حج کیا جائے گا، اس نے وصیت کی ہو یا نہ کی ہو۔ وہ اس پر قرض ہے۔
(12599) hasan se is aadmi ke bare mein riwayat hai jo apni taraf se hajj ki wasiyat kare. hasan ne kaha : agar usne hajj kiya tha to suls se wasiyat puri hogi aur agar na kiya tha to sare mal se hajj kiya jayega, usne wasiyat ki ho ya na ki ho. woh is par qarz hai.
(12600) Ibn Tawus narrates from his father that when a man makes a bequest of something and it becomes obligatory upon him, like Hajj, or the expiation of an oath, or the expiation of Zihar, then it (the fulfillment of the bequest) will be from all of his wealth.

(١٢٦٠٠) ابن طاؤس اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ جب آدمی کسی چیز کی وصیت کرے اور وہ اس پر واجب ہو حج یا قسم کا کفارہ یا ظہار کا کفارہ تو وہ سارے مال سے ہوگا۔
(12600) ibne taus apne walid se naql farmate hain keh jab aadmi kisi cheez ki wasiyat kare aur wo us par wajib ho hajj ya qasam ka kaffara ya zihar ka kaffara to wo sare mal se hoga.
(12601) It is narrated on the authority of Hasan, regarding the man who makes a bequest for Hajj or Zakat, that it (the amount bequeathed) is from all of the wealth.

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "My mother vowed to perform Hajj but she died before she could. Can I perform Hajj on her behalf?" He (the Prophet) said: "Yes, perform Hajj on her behalf. Don't you think that if your mother had a debt, you would have paid it?" She said: "Yes." He (the Prophet) said: "Then fulfill the right of Allah, for it is more deserving of being fulfilled."

(١٢٦٠٢) حضرت ابن عباس (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ایک عورت نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئی، اس نے کہا : میری ماں نے نذر مانی تھی کہ وہ حج کرے گی۔ وہ حج سے پہلے فوت ہوگئی ہے، کیا میں اس کی طرف سے حج کرلوں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ہاں تو حج کرلے۔ تیرا کیا خیال ہے اگر تیری ماں پر قرض ہوتا تو تو نے ادا کرنا تھا ؟ اس نے کہا : ہاں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ کا قرض پورا کرو اس کا پورا کرنا زیادہ ضروری ہے۔
(12602) Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) se riwayat hai ki ek aurat Nabi (SAW) ke paas aai, usne kaha: meri maan ne nazr maani thi ki woh Hajj karegi. Woh Hajj se pehle faut hogayi hai, kya main uski taraf se Hajj karlun? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: haan to Hajj karle. Tera kya khayal hai agar teri maan par qarz hota to tune ada karna tha? Usne kaha: haan. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Allah ka qarz pura karo uska pura karna zyada zaroori hai.
