Abu Hazim narrated from Sahl bin Sa'd Sa'idi that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: I have given myself to you (in marriage). She stood for a long time, then a man stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah! If you do not need her, then marry her to me. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: Do you have anything to give her as dowry? He said: I have this cloak. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If you give her your cloak, then you will be left without a cloak. Find something else. He said: I have nothing else. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Then find even an iron ring. He could not find anything despite searching, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do you know any Quran by heart? He said: I know such and such Surahs by heart, and he named them. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I have married her to you in exchange for the Quran that you know by heart.

(١٤٣٩٨) ابو حازم حضرت سہل بن سعد ساعدی سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک عورت نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئی اور کہنے لگی : میں نے اپنا نفس آپ کے لیے ہبہ کردیا ہے وہ زیادہ دیر کھڑی رہی تو ایک شخص نے کھڑے ہو کر کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! اگر آپ کو ضرورت نہیں تو میرا نکاح کردیں، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : کیا تیرے پاس حق مہر دینے کے لیے کچھ ہے ؟ کہتا ہے : میری یہ چادر ہے ، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر چادر تو نے اس کو دے دی پھر آپ بغیر چادر کے رہ جاؤ گے کچھ تلاش کرو۔ اس نے کہا : میرے پاس کچھ بھی نہیں ہے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : لوہے کی انگوٹھی ہی تلاش کرو۔ تلاش کے باوجود اس کو کچھ نہ ملا تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تجھے قرآن یاد ہے ؟ کہنے لگا : فلاں فلاں سورت یاد ہے، اس نے نام لیا تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میں نے تیرا نکاح اس سے کردیا اس قرآن کے عوض جو تجھے یاد ہے۔
(14398) Abu Hazim Hazrat Sahl bin Saad Saeedi se naql farmate hain ki aik aurat Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas aai aur kahne lagi : main ne apna nafs aap ke liye haba kar diya hai woh zyada dair khadi rahi to aik shakhs ne khade ho kar kaha : aye Allah ke Rasool ! agar aap ko zaroorat nahin to mera nikah kar dain, Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne poocha : kya tere paas haq mehr dene ke liye kuchh hai ? kahta hai : meri ye chadar hai , aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : agar chadar tune us ko de di phir aap baghair chadar ke rah jaoge kuchh talaash karo. Us ne kaha : mere paas kuchh bhi nahin hai. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : lohe ki angoothi hi talaash karo. Talaash ke bawajood us ko kuchh na mila to Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : kya tujhe Quran yaad hai ? kahne laga : falan falan surat yaad hai, us ne naam liya to Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : main ne tera nikah us se kar diya is Quran ke awaz jo tujhe yaad hai.
Abu Hazim narrates from Sahl bin Saad Saidi that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). She mentioned a narration similar to the narration of Malik. The narration of Malik is complete and at its end it is stated, "Have you memorized some portion of the Quran?" She replied, "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go, I have arranged your marriage with this woman, you will teach her the Quran."
(b) In the narration of Abu Bakr bin Abi Shibah it is stated that (the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said) "Go, I have arranged your marriage with this woman, you teach her the Quran."

(١٤٣٩٩) ابو حازم حضرت سہل بن سعد ساعدی سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک عورت نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئی، اس نے مالک کی حدیث کے ہم معنی بیان کی اور مالک کی حدیث مکمل ہے، اس کے آخر میں ہے : کیا تو نے قرآن سے کچھ پڑھا ہوا ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : ہاں۔ آپ نے فرمایا : جاؤ میں نے تیرا نکاح اس عورت سے کردیا ہے، آپ اس کو قرآن کی تعلیم دیں گے۔
(ب) ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ کی روایت میں ہے کہ جاؤ میں نے تیرا نکاح اس عورت سے کردیا ہے، تو اس کو قرآن کی تعلیم دے دینا۔
14399 Abu Hazim Hazrat Sahl bin Saad Saeedi se naqal farmate hain ke ek aurat Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas aayi usne Malik ki hadees ke ham mane bayan ki aur Malik ki hadees mukammal hai uske aakhir mein hai kya tune Quran se kuch parha hua hai usne kaha haan aap ne farmaya jao maine tera nikah is aurat se kar diya hai aap isko Quran ki taleem denge
b Abu Bakr bin Abi Sheeba ki riwayat mein hai ke jao maine tera nikah is aurat se kar diya hai to isko Quran ki taleem de dena
Ata' bin Abi Rabah narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) a similar narration as that of Sahl bin Sa'd, but he did not mention the shawl and the ring. He (the Prophet) said: "Do you know the Quran?" He said: "Surah Al-Baqarah and what comes after it." He (the Prophet) said: "Stand up and teach her twenty verses." This is your wife, and in the narration of Razee, it is said: "I have married you to this woman."

(١٤٤٠٠) عطاء بن ابی رباح حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے سہل بن سعد کے قصہ کی طرح ہی نقل فرماتے ہیں، لیکن اس میں چادر اور انگوٹھی کا تذکرہ نہیں ہے۔ فرمایا : کیا تجھے قرآن یاد ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : سورة بقرہ اور اس سے ملی ہوئی سورت۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کھڑے ہوجاؤ اس کو ٢٠ آیات کی تعلیم دے دو ، یہ آپ کی بیوی ہے اور رازی کی روایت میں ہے کہ میں نے تیرا نکاح اس عورت سے کردیا ہے۔
Ata bin Abi Rabah Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) se Sahl bin Saad ke qissa ki tarah hi naql farmate hain, lekin is mein chadar aur anguthi ka tazkara nahin hai. Farmaya: kya tujhe Quran yaad hai? Is ne kaha: Surah Baqarah aur is se mili hui surat. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya kharay hojao is ko 20 aayaton ki taleem de do, yeh aap ki biwi hai aur Razi ki riwayat mein hai ke maine tera nikah is aurat se kar diya hai.
'Asim narrated from 'Ata that a man performed Nikah (marriage) in return for teaching the Qur'an. When this matter was presented before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said: "It is permissible."

(١٤٤٠١) عیسل حضرت عطاء سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے قرآن کی تعلیم کے عوض نکاح کرلیا تو یہ بات نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے پیش ہوئی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جائز ہے۔
(14401) Aysal Hazrat Ata se naql farmate hain ke ek shakhs ne Quran ki taleem ke awaz nikah karliya to yeh baat Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke samne pesh hui to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: jaiz hai.
(14402) Apart from this, 'Abd As-Samad said that he requested the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to teach him something from the Quran. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) declared it permissible.

(١٤٤٠٢) عبدالصمد نے اس کے علاوہ کہا کہ قرآن سے کچھ سکھا دو تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو جائز قرار دیا۔
14402 abdussamad ne us ke ilawa kaha keh quran se kuch sikha do to rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne us ko jaiz karar diya.
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud reported: A woman came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, “Give me a decision concerning myself.” The Prophet said to the one who proposed marriage to her, “Have you memorized anything from the Quran?” He said, “Surah al-Baqarah and Surah al-Mufassal.” The Prophet said, “I have given you her hand in marriage for what you have memorized of the Quran, so teach it to her and when Allah provides you with wealth then spend upon her.” So the man married her.

(١٤٤٠٣) حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک عورت نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئی اور کہا : میرے بارے میں اپنی رائے قائم کریں تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس شخص سے کہا، جس نے نکاح کے لیے کہا تھا : کیا تو نے قرآن سے کچھ پڑھا ہوا ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : سورة البقرہ اور سورة المفصل تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میں نے تیرا نکاح اس سے کردیا، لیکن قرآن کی تعلیم دے دینا اور جب اللہ تجھے رزق دے تو اس کے عوض بھی ادا کردینا، تو اس پر اس شخص نے شادی کرلی۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood farmate hain ke ek aurat Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass aayi aur kaha: mere bare mein apni rai qaim karen to Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne us shakhs se kaha, jisne nikah ke liye kaha tha: kya tune Quran se kuchh padha hua hai? usne kaha: Surah Al-Baqarah aur Surah Al-Mufassal to Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: maine tera nikah us se kar diya, lekin Quran ki taleem de dena aur jab Allah tujhe rizq de to uske awaz bhi ada kar dena, to us par us shakhs ne shaadi kar li.
