Chapter on what is mentioned regarding the shortest pregnancy
باب ما جاء في أقل الحمل
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 15548
Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when a woman gives birth to a nine-month-old baby, twenty-one months of breastfeeding is sufficient for it. And when she gives birth to a seven-month-old baby, thirty months of breastfeeding (i.e., breastfeeding the baby) is sufficient. And when she gives birth to a six-month-old baby, it is sufficient to breastfeed it for twenty-four months, as Allah Almighty has said: { وَحَمْلُهٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰـثُوْنَ شَہْرًا } [Al-Ahqaf 15] "And its bearing and its weaning is thirty months."

(١٥٥٤٨) ابن عباس (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ جب عورت نو مہینوں کا بچہ جنے اس کو اکیس مہینے رضاعت کافی ہے اور جب سات ماہ کا بچہ جنم دے تو اس کو تیس مہینے رضاعت (یعنی بچے کو دودھ پلانا) کافی ہے اور جب چھ ماہ کے بچے کو جنم دے تو اس کو چوبیس ماہ دودھ پلانا کافی ہے، جس طرح اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا ہے : { وَحَمْلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰـثُوْنَ شَہْرًا } [الاحقاف ١٥] ” اور اس کے حمل اور دودھ چھڑوانے کی مدت تیس ماہ ہے۔ “
Ibn Abbas (RA) se riwayat hai ki jab aurat nau mahinon ka bachcha janne usko ikkis mahine riwayat kafi hai aur jab saat mah ka bachcha janam de to usko tees mahine riwayat (yani bachche ko doodh pilana) kafi hai aur jab chhe mah ke bachche ko janam de to usko chaubis mah doodh pilana kafi hai, jis tarah Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya hai: { Wa hamluhu wa fisaluhu salasun ash-hura } [Al-Ahqaf 15] ” Aur iske hamal aur doodh chhudwane ki muddat tees mah hai “.
Abu Harb bin Abu Aswad narrated from Dilli that a woman was brought to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) who had given birth to a child after six months. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to have her stoned. This reached Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: There is no stoning for her. This reached Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), so you sent a messenger to him to ask him about it and said: {And mothers shall breastfeed their children for two complete years, for whoever wishes to complete the nursing} [Al-Baqarah 233] and said: {And his conception and his weaning are thirty months} [Al-Ahqaf 15]. Six months is the period of her pregnancy and two years is the period of her weaning. There is no limit on it or he said: There is no stoning for her. So Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) let her go, then she gave birth to the child.

(١٥٥٤٩) ابو حرب بن ابو اسود دیلی سے روایت ہے کہ عمر (رض) کے پاس ایک عورت کو لایا گیا جس نے چھ ماہ کے بعد بچے کو جنم دیا تھا۔ عمر (رض) نے اس کے رجم کرنے کا ارادہ فرمایا۔ یہ بات علی (رض) کو پہنچی۔ انھوں نے فرمایا : اس پر رجم نہیں ہے۔ یہ بات عمر (رض) کو پہنچی تو آپ نے ان کی طرف قاصد کو بھیجا کہ وہ اس سے سوال کرے اور فرمایا : { وَ الْوَالِدٰتُ یُرْضِعْنَ اَوْلَادَھُنَّ حَوْلَیْنِ کَامِلَیْنِ لِمَنْ اَرَادَ اَنْ یُّتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَۃَ } ” اور مائیں اپنی اولاد کو دودھ پلائیں مکمل دو سال جو ارادہ کریں رضاعت کو مکمل کرنے کا۔ [البقرۃ ٢٣٣] اور فرمایا : { وَحَمْلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰـثُوْنَ شَہْرًا } ” اور حمل اور دودھ چھڑوانے کی مدت تیس ماہ ہے۔ “ [الاحقاف ١٥] چھ ماہ اس کے حمل کی مدت اور دو سال اس کے دودھ چھڑوانے کی مدت ہے۔ اس پر حد نہیں ہی یا فرمایا : اس پر رجم نہیں ہے۔ چنانچہ اس کو عمر (رض) نے چھوڑ دیا، پھر اس نے بچے کو جنم دیا۔
(15549) Abu Harb bin Abu Aswad Dili se riwayat hai ki Umar (Razi Allah Anhu) ke paas ek aurat ko laya gaya jisne chhe mah ke baad bache ko janam diya tha. Umar (Razi Allah Anhu) ne uske rajm karne ka irada farmaya. Yeh baat Ali (Razi Allah Anhu) ko pahunchi. Unhon ne farmaya: Is par rajm nahin hai. Yeh baat Umar (Razi Allah Anhu) ko pahunchi to aap ne unki taraf qasid ko bheja ki woh us se sawal kare aur farmaya: { وَ الْوَالِدٰتُ یُرْضِعْنَ اَوْلَادَھُنَّ حَوْلَیْنِ کَامِلَیْنِ لِمَنْ اَرَادَ اَنْ یُّتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَۃَ } ” Aur mayen apni aulad ko doodh pilayen mukammal do saal jo irada karen rizaat ko mukammal karne ka. [Al-Baqarah 233] Aur farmaya: { وَحَمْلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰـثُوْنَ شَہْرًا } ” Aur hamal aur doodh chhudwane ki muddat tees mah hai. “ [Al-Ahqaf 15] Chhe mah uske hamal ki muddat aur do saal uske doodh chhudwane ki muddat hai. Is par had nahin hai ya farmaya: Is par rajm nahin hai. Chunancha usko Umar (Razi Allah Anhu) ne chhod diya, phir usne bache ko janam diya.
The owner of the book says that a narration reached him that a woman was brought to Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) who had given birth to a child in six months. Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) ordered that she be stoned. Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "There is no stoning for her." Allah Almighty has said: { وَحَمْلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰـثُوْنَ شَہْرًا } "And his bearing and weaning are thirty months." [Al-Ahqaf 15] And He said: { وَفِصٰلُہٗ فِیْ عَامَیْنِ } "And his weaning is in two years." [Luqman 14] And He said: { وَالْوَالِدٰتُ یُرْضِعْنَ اَوْلَادَھُنَّ حَوْلَیْنِ کَامِلَیْنِ } "Mothers should suckle their children for two whole years." [Al-Baqarah 233] The suckling period is twenty-four months and the pregnancy period is six months. Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) gave a verdict based on this, she was returned, and when he inquired about her, he found out that she had been stoned. And Allah knows best.

(١٥٥٥١) مالک فرماتے ہیں کہ ان کو حدیث پہنچی کہ عثمان بن عفان (رض) کے پاس ایک عورت کو لایا گیا۔ اس نے چھ ماہ میں بچے کو جنم دیا۔ عثمان بن عفان (رض) نے اس کے رجم کرنے کا حکم دیا تو علی بن ابی طالب (رض) نے فرمایا : اس پر رجم نہیں ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : { وَحَمْلُہٗ وَفِصٰلُہٗ ثَلٰـثُوْنَ شَہْرًا } [الاحقاف ١٥] ” اور حمل اور اس کے دودھ چھڑوانے کی مدت تیس ماہ ہے۔ “ [الاحقاف ١٥] اور فرمایا : وَفِصٰلُہٗ فِیْ عَامَیْنِ ” اس کے دودھ چھڑوانے کی مدت دو سال ہے اور فرمایا : { وَالْوَالِدٰتُ یُرْضِعْنَ اَوْلَادَھُنَّ حَوْلَیْنِ کَامِلَیْنِ } [البقرۃ ٢٣٣] مدت رضاعت چوبیس ماہ ہے اور مدت حمل چھ ماہ ہے۔ عثمان (رض) نے اس کے بارے میں حکم دیا، اس کو لوٹایا گیا اور اس کو پایا گیا تو اسے رجم کردیا گیا تھا اور اللہ ہی زیادہ جاننے والا ہے۔
(15551) Malik farmate hain keh un ko hadees pahunchi keh Usman bin Affan (RA) ke pass ek aurat ko laya gaya Iss ne chhe mahine mein bache ko janam diya Usman bin Affan (RA) ne iss ke rajm karne ka hukum diya to Ali bin Abi Talib (RA) ne farmaya Iss par rajm nahin hai Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya { Wa hamluhu wa fisaluhu salasun shahran } [Al-Ahqaf 15] ” Aur hamal aur iss ke doodh chhudwane ki muddat tees mahine hai “ [Al-Ahqaf 15] Aur farmaya : { Wa fisaluhu fi amein } iss ke doodh chhudwane ki muddat do saal hai aur farmaya { Wal walidatu yurzinna awladahunna hawlayni kamilaini } [Al-Baqarah 233] Muddat-e-rizzaat chobis mahine hai aur muddat-e-hamal chhe mahine hai Usman (RA) ne iss ke bare mein hukum diya iss ko lautaya gaya aur iss ko paya gaya to ise rajm kar diya gaya tha aur Allah hi zyada janne wala hai
