Ubaidullah bin Abdullah narrated from Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked Abu Waqid al-Laythi, "What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recite on the two Eids?" He said, "He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite 'Qaf, by the Glorious Quran' (Quran 50:1) and '{The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder}' (Quran 54:1).".

(٦١٩١) عبید اللہ بن عبداللہ حضرت عمربن خطاب (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عمر (رض) نے ابو واقدلیثی سے پوچھا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) عیدین میں کیا پڑھتے تھے ؟ فرمایا : آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ” ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِید “ اور { اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَۃُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ } پڑھا کرتے تھے۔
Ubaidullah bin Abdullah Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (RA) se naqal farmate hain ke Hazrat Umar (RA) ne Abu Waqid Lithi se poocha ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Eidain mein kya parhte thay? Farmaya: Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) "Qaf wal Quranil Majeed" aur {Iqtarabatissaa'atu Wanshaqal Qamar} parha karte thay.
Abu Waqid al-Laythi reported: Umar ibn al-Khattab asked me, "What did the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, recite in the Eid prayer?" I said, "He would recite, 'The Hour has drawn near' [54:1] and 'Qaf. By the Glorious Quran.'"

(٦١٩٢) ابو واقد لیثی فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے حضرت عمر (رض) نے سوال کیا کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) عید کی نماز میں کیا پڑھتے تھے۔ میں نے کہا : { اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَۃُ } [القمر : ١] اور { ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِیدِ }۔
Abu Waqid Laithi farmate hain keh mujh se Hazrat Umar (RA) ne sawal kiya keh Nabi (SAW) Eid ki namaz mein kya parhte thay. Maine kaha: {Aqtarabatis sa'ah} [Al-Qamar: 1] aur {Qawaal quranil majeed}.
Nauman bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الأَعْلَی } (Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High) and { ہَلْ أَتَاکَ حَدِیثُ الْغَاشِیَۃِ } (Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming) on the days of Eid and Friday. And when Friday and Eid coincided on one day, he would recite both in it. However, Tayalsi did not mention وَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَا إِلَی آخِرِہِ (and perhaps they will be gathered to the end of it).

(٦١٩٣) نعمان بن بشیر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) عیدین اور جمعہ کے دن { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الأَعْلَی } اور { ہَلْ أَتَاکَ حَدِیثُ الْغَاشِیَۃِ } پڑھا کرتے تھے اور جب جمعہ اور عید ایک دن آجاتے تو دونوں میں پڑھ دیتے۔ لیکن طیالسی نے وَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَا إِلَی آخِرِہِ کو ذکر نہیں کیا۔
Nemaan bin Bashir (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) eidein aur jumma ke din {Subhe esma rabbikal aala} aur {Hal ataka hadeesul ghashiyah} parha karte thay aur jab jumma aur eid aik din aate to donon mein parh dete. Lekin Tyalsi ne {warubbama ijtamaa ila akhirihi} ko zikar nahin kiya.
(6194) Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite { Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High } and { Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (event)? } on the two Eids.
The Shaikh (al-Albaani) said: There is no contradiction in the narration of Abu Waqid, for in one narration he reports only the recitation of Eid and in another narration he reports the recitation of Eid and other than that. And many Eids occurred during the time of the Prophet (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he is truthful in his narration.

(٦١٩٤) سمرہ بن جندب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) عیدین میں { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الأَعْلَی } اور { ہَلْ أَتَاکَ حَدِیثُ الْغَاشِیَۃِ } پڑھا کرتے تھے۔
شیخ فرماتے ہیں : ابو واقد کی حدیث میں اختلاف نہیں، بلکہ ایک مرتبہ وہ صرف عید کی قراءت نقل کرتے ہیں اور دوسری مرتبہ عید اور اس کے علاوہ کی قراءت نقل کرتے ہیں اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے عہد میں کئی عیدیں آئیں تو وہ بیان کرنے میں صادق ہیں۔
(6194) Samrah bin Jundub (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Eidain mein {Subbih isma rabbikal a'ala} aur {Hal ataka hadeesul ghashiyah} parha karte thay. Sheikh farmate hain: Abu Waqid ki hadees mein ikhtilaf nahin, balki ek martaba woh sirf Eid ki qirat naql karte hain aur dusri martaba Eid aur uske ilawa ki qirat naql karte hain aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke ahd mein kai Eidain aayin to woh bayan karne mein sadiq hain.
