Chapter on a man buying a sacrificial animal which is sound, then defects appear and it reaches the time of sacrifice
باب الرجل يشتري أضحية وهي تامة ثم عرض لها نقص وبلغت المنسك
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19193
Abu Sa'eed Khudri reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: There is no harm if the sacrificed animal's tail is cut off.
(b) Abu Sa'eed reported that a person asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about a goat whose tail had been cut off by a wolf. Should he sacrifice it? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Sacrifice it.

(١٩١٩٣) حضرت ابو سعید خدری فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : دم کٹے جانور کی قربانی کرنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔
(ب) ابو سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے ایسی بکری کے بارے میں پوچھا جس کی دم کو بھیڑیے نے کاٹ دیا تھا۔ کیا اس کی قربانی کر دوں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اس کی قربانی کردو۔
19193 Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Dum kate janwar ki qurbani karne mein koi harj nahi hai. (b) Abu Saeed farmate hain keh ek shakhs ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se aisi bakri ke bare mein pucha jis ki dum ko bhediye ne kaat diya tha. Kya is ki qurbani kar dun? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Is ki qurbani kardo.
Abu Husain narrates that Abdullah bin Zubair saw a one-eyed she-camel among the sacrificial animals and said: "If the defect occurred after purchase, then sacrifice it. But if the defect was present before purchase, then replace it."

(١٩١٩٤) حضرت ابوحصین فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن زبیر نے قربانی کے جانوروں میں ایک بھینگی اونٹنی دیکھی تو فرمایا : اگر خریدنے کے بعد عیب پیدا ہوا ہے تو قربانی کر دو ۔ اگر خریدنے سے پہلے عیب موجود تھا تو پھر اسے تبدیل کرلو۔
(19194) Hazrat Abu Husain farmate hain ki Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair ne qurbani ke janwaron mein ek bhaingi untni dekhi to farmaya: Agar kharidne ke baad aib paida hua hai to qurbani kar do. Agar kharidne se pehle aib mojood tha to phir ise tabdeel kar lo.
Nafi' narrates that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Whoever loses their sacrificial animal, they should replace it if it was for a vow. If it was a voluntary sacrifice, then they have the choice to replace it or leave it.”
Grade: Sahih
(١٩١٩٥) نافع فرماتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : کہ جس شخص کی قربانی گم ہوگئی، اگر وہ نذر کا جانور تھا تو اس کو تبدیل کیا جائے ۔ اگر نفلی قربانی تھی تو پھر اختیار ہے بدل لے یا ترک کر دے۔
19195 nafi farmate hain ki abdullah bin umar (rz) ne farmaya : ki jis shakhs ki qurbani gum hogayi, agar wo nazar ka janwar tha to us ko tabdeel kiya jaye . agar nafli qurbani thi to phir ikhtiyar hai badal le ya tark kar de.
