Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 13009
Narrated Hasan: Abu Bakr delivered a sermon and praised and glorified Allah, and then said, "Wisdom is piety and foolishness is sin. Truthfulness is trustworthiness and lying is treachery. Beware! A strong one is weak in my opinion, till I get back the right from him, and a weak one is strong in my opinion, till I get him his right. Beware! I am appointed over you, though I am not the best among you. Hasan said, "By Allah! He was the best of them, but a believer thinks of himself as low." He then said, "I wish that someone amongst you more qualified for this job had taken it over. Hasan said, "He had spoken the truth. By Allah, if they had intended to let the Caliphate remain with me as Allah had let it remain with the Prophet, I would have been just like any other human being. So, excuse me." When the morning came, he went to the market. 'Umar met him and said, "Where are you going?" Abu Bakr replied, "To the market." 'Umar said, "No doubt you have got something which has made you forget what you said yesterday?" Abu Bakr said, "Subhan Allah (Glorified be Allah) even from my family?" 'Umar said, "Take some wealth according to the recognized way (i.e. as much as is given to the other Caliphs)." Abu Bakr said, "O 'Umar! I am afraid lest I should eat anything from this Fai (i.e. the property of the Muslims)." He added, "He (i.e. Abu Bakr) consumed eight thousand Dirhams in two years and some months, and when he was about to die, he said, 'I had told 'Umar, "I am afraid lest I should eat (anything) from the Fai," so he overcame me (by his insistence). So, when I die, take these eight thousand Dirhams from my property and return them to the Fai.' " When those Dirhams were brought to 'Umar, he said, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on Abu Bakr! He has made the matters very hard for those who will succeed him."

(١٣٠٠٩) حسن سے روایت ہے کہ ابوبکر نے لوگوں کو خطبہ دیا، اللہ کی حمدوثنا بیان کی، پھر کہا : عقل مندی تقویٰ ہے اور حماقت برائی ہے اور صدق میرے نزدیک امانت ہے اور جھوٹ میرے نزدیک خیانت ہے، خبردار ! قوی میرے نزدیک ضعیف ہے، یہاں تک کہ اس سے حق لے لوں اور کمزور میرے نزدیک قوی ہے، یہاں تک کہ اس کا حق لے لوں۔ خبردار ! میں تمہارا والی بنا ہوں اور میں تم میں بہتر نہیں ہوں۔ حسن نے کہا : اللہ کی قسم ! وہ ان میں بہتر تھے اور لیکن مومن اپنے آپ کو کم تر سمجھتا ہے، پھر کہا : میں پسند کرتا ہوں کہ تم میں سے کوئی مجھے اس عہدے پر کافی ہوجائے۔ حسن نے کہا : اس نے سچ کہا، اللہ کی قسم اور اگر تم ارادہ رکھتے ہو کہ جہاں اللہ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو قائم کیا تھا، وہ میرے پاس رہے تو میں ایک انسان ہوں۔ پس میرا خیال رکھنا، جب صبح ہوئی تو بازار کی طرف گئے۔ عمر (رض) نے ان سے کہا تم کہاں کا ارادہ رکھتے ہو۔ ابوبکر (رض) نے کہا : بازار کا۔ عمر (رض) نی فرمایا : تحقیق آپ کے پاس ایسا معاملہ آگیا ہے جس نے آپ کو بازار سے مشغول کردیا ہے، ابوبکر (رض) نے کہا : سبحان اللہ۔ میرے گھر والوں سے بھی مشغول کردیا ہے۔ عمر (رض) نے کہا : معروف طریقے سے مال لے لو۔ ابوبکر (رض) نے کہا اے عمر ! میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ کہیں میں اس بیت المال سے نہ کھالوں۔ کہا انھوں نے دو سال اور چند مہینوں میں آٹھ ہزار درہم خرچ کیے۔ جب موت آئی تو کہا : میں نے عمر (رض) سے کہا تھا، میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ بیت المال سے کھاؤں، پس وہ مجھ پر غلبہ پا گئے۔ پس جب میں فوت ہوں تو میرے مال سے آٹھ ہزار درہم لے لینا اور بیت المال میں لوٹا دینا۔ جب عمر کے پاس وہ درہم لائے گئے تو کہا : اللہ ابوبکر پر رحم کریں انھوں نے بعد والوں کے لیے شدید مشکل چھوڑی۔
(13009) Hasan se riwayat hai ki Abu Bakr ne logon ko khutba diya, Allah ki hamd o sana bayan ki, phir kaha : Aql mandi taqwa hai aur hamaqat burai hai aur sadaq mere nazdeek amanat hai aur jhoot mere nazdeek khayaanat hai, khabardar ! Qawi mere nazdeek zaeef hai, yahan tak ki us se haq le loon aur kamzor mere nazdeek qawi hai, yahan tak ki uska haq le loon. Khabardar ! Main tumhara wali bana hoon aur main tum mein behtar nahin hoon. Hasan ne kaha : Allah ki qasam ! Woh un mein behtar thay aur lekin momin apne aap ko kam tar samajhta hai, phir kaha : Main pasand karta hoon ki tum mein se koi mujhe is uhde par kaafi ho jaye. Hasan ne kaha : Is ne sach kaha, Allah ki qasam aur agar tum irada rakhte ho ki jahan Allah ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko qaim kiya tha, woh mere paas rahe to main ek insaan hoon. Pas mera khayal rakhna, jab subah hui to bazaar ki taraf gaye. Umar (Raz) ne un se kaha tum kahan ka irada rakhte ho. Abu Bakr (Raz) ne kaha : Bazaar ka. Umar (Raz) ne farmaya : Tahqiq aap ke paas aisa mamla aa gaya hai jis ne aap ko bazaar se mashgool kar diya hai, Abu Bakr (Raz) ne kaha : Subhan Allah. Mere ghar walon se bhi mashgool kar diya hai. Umar (Raz) ne kaha : Maroof tariqe se maal le lo. Abu Bakr (Raz) ne kaha aye Umar ! Main darta hoon ki kahin main is bait ul mal se na kha loon. Kaha unhon ne do saal aur chand mahinon mein aath hazaar dirham kharch kiye. Jab maut aai to kaha : Main ne Umar (Raz) se kaha tha, main darta hoon ki bait ul mal se khaaun, pas woh mujh par ghalba pa gaye. Pas jab main فوت hoon to mere maal se aath hazaar dirham le lena aur bait ul mal mein luta dena. Jab Umar ke paas woh dirham laaye gaye to kaha : Allah Abu Bakr par raham karen unhon ne baad walon ke liye shadeed mushkil chhodi.
١٣٠٠٩ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَاهِرِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْفَرَّاءُ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا الْمُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ،أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ:" إِنَّ أَكْيَسَ الْكَيْسِ التَّقْوَى، وَأَحْمَقَ الْحُمْقِ الْفُجُورُ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ عِنْدِي الْأَمَانَةُ، وَالْكَذِبَ الْخِيَانَةُ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ الْقَوِيَّ عِنْدِي ضَعِيفٌ حَتَّى آخُذَ مِنْهُ الْحَقَّ، وَالضَّعِيفَ عِنْدِي قَوِيٌّ حَتَّى آخُذَ لَهُ الْحَقَّ، أَلَا وَإِنِّي قَدْ وُلِّيتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَسْتُ بِأَخْيَرِكُمْ "قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: هُوَ وَاللهِ خَيْرُهُمْ غَيْرُ مُدَافَعٍ، وَلَكِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يَهْضِمُ نَفْسَهُ.ثُمَّ قَالَ:" وَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّهُ كَفَانِي هَذَا الْأَمْرَ أَحَدُكُمْ "-قَالَ الْحَسَنُ:صَدَقَ ⦗٥٧٥⦘ وَاللهِ - وَإِنْ أَنْتُمْ أَرَدْتُمُونِي عَلَى مَا كَانَ اللهُ يُقِيمُ نَبِيَّهُ مِنَ الْوَحْيِ مَا ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي، إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ، فَرَاعُونِي.فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ غَدَا إِلَى السُّوقِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ:" أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ؟ "قَالَ: السُّوقَ.قَالَ:" قَدْ جَاءَكَ مَا يَشْغَلُكَ عَنِ السُّوقِ "،قَالَ:سُبْحَانَ اللهِ يَشْغَلُنِي عَنْ عِيَالِي.قَالَ:تُعْرِضُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ،قَالَ:" وَيْحَ عُمَرَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ لَا يَسَعُنِي أَنْ آكُلَ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ شَيْئًا "قَالَ: فَأَنْفِقْ فِي سَنَتَيْنِ وَبَعْضِ أُخْرَى ثَمَانِيَةَ آلَافِ دِرْهَمٍ.فَلَمَّا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ:قَدْ كُنْتُ قُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ: إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ لَا يَسَعَنِي أَنْ آكُلَ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ شَيْئًا، فَغَلَبَنِي فَإِذَا أَنَا مِتُّ فَخُذُوا مِنْ مَالِي ثَمَانِيَةَ آلَافِ دِرْهَمٍ وَرُدُّوهَا فِي بَيْتِ الْمَالِ.قَالَ:فَلَمَّا أُتِيَ بِهَا عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ:" رَحِمَ اللهُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، لَقَدْ أَتْعَبَ مَنْ بَعْدَهُ تَعَبًا شَدِيدًا "
