Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 15119
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever takes an oath to do a good deed and says 'Insha'Allah' (if Allah wills), then he has the option, if he wishes, to do it or not to do it."

(١٥١١٩) حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جس نے بھلائی کی قسم کھائی اور ان شاء اللہ کہہ دیا تو اس کو اختیار ہے اگر چاہے تو یہ کام کرلے یا نہ کرے۔
(15119) Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jis ne bhalaayi ki qasam khaayi aur Insha Allah keh diya to us ko ikhtiyar hai agar chahe to yeh kaam karle ya na kare.
١٥١١٩ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، نا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ،عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَقَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ، إِنْ شَاءَ فَعَلَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ "وَرُوِيَ فِيهِ حَدِيثٌ ضَعِيفٌ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مَرْفُوعًا
