Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 15742
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man passed by him and he marveled at his perfect physique. He said: "I wish he were in the cause of Allah!" He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If he were to serve his elderly parents, he would be in the cause of Allah. And if he were to strive for his young child, he would be in the cause of Allah. And if he were to strive for himself to enrich it, he would be in the cause of Allah.”

(١٥٧٤٢) ابن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ان کے ساتھ سے ایک آدمی گزرا، انھوں نے اس کی کامل ساخت پر تعجب کیا۔ انھوں نے کہا : کاش ! یہ اللہ کے راستے میں ہوتا۔ وہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے، نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر یہ اپنے بوڑھے ماں باپ کی خدمت کرتا ہی تو وہ اللہ کے راستے میں ہے اور اگر یہ اپنے چھوٹے بچے پر کوشش کرتا ہے تو یہ اللہ کے راستے میں ہے۔ اگر یہ اپنے نفس پر کوشش کرتا ہے اس کو غنی کرنے کے لیے تو یہ اللہ کے راستے میں ہے۔
Ibn Umar (RA) se riwayat hai ki un ke sath se ek aadmi guzara, unhon ne us ki kamil sakht par ta'ajjub kiya. Unhon ne kaha: Kash! Yeh Allah ke raste mein hota. Woh Nabi (SAW) ke paas aaye, Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya: Agar yeh apne boorhe maan baap ki khidmat karta hi to woh Allah ke raste mein hai aur agar yeh apne chhote bache par koshish karta hai to yeh Allah ke raste mein hai. Agar yeh apne nafs par koshish karta hai is ko ghani karne ke liye to yeh Allah ke raste mein hai.
١٥٧٤٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ جَنَاحُ بْنُ نُذَيْرِ بْنِ جَنَاحٍ الْقَاضِي بِالْكُوفَةِ، أنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، نا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مَغْرَاءَ الْعَبْدِيِّ،عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ:مَرَّ بِهِمْ رَجُلٌ فَتَعَجَّبُوا مِنْ خَلْقِهِ فَقَالُوا: لَوْ كَانَ هَذَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَأَتَوَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنْ كَانَ يَسْعَى عَلَى أَبَوَيْهِ شَيْخَيْنِ كَبِيرَيْنِ فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يَسْعَى عَلَى وَلَدٍ صِغَارٍ فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يَسْعَى عَلَى نَفْسِهِ لِيُغْنِيَهَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ "
