Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 16557
Ma'qil ibn Yasar Muzani said: The people gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) under the tree on the day of Hudaibiyah, and I was one of those who were carrying its wood. We did not give the pledge of allegiance on death, but we gave the pledge that we would not flee.

(١٦٥٥٧) معقل بن یسار مزنی فرماتے ہیں لوگوں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے حدیبیہ کے دن درخت کے نیچے بیعت کی اور میں اس کی لکڑیاں اٹھانے والوں میں تھا ہم نے موت پر بیعت نہیں کی تھی بلکہ اس پر بیعت کی تھی کہ نہیں بھاگیں گے۔
Muqal bin Yasar Muzani farmate hain logon ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se Hudaibiya ke din darakht ke neeche bai'at ki aur main uski lakdiyan uthane walon mein tha hum ne maut par bai'at nahin ki thi balkeh is par bai'at ki thi keh nahin bhaengein.
١٦٥٥٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو،قَالَا:ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ،قَالَ:بَايَعَ النَّاسُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، وَهُوَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ، وَأَنَا رَافِعٌ غُصْنًا مِنْ أَغْصَانِهَا، فَلَمْ نُبَايِعْهُ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ، وَلَكِنْ بَايَعْنَاهُ عَلَى أَنْ لَا نَفِرَّ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى
