باب أهل البغي إذا فاءوا لم يتبع مدبرهم، ولم يقتل أسيرهم، ولم يجهز على جريحهم، ولم يستمتع بشيء من أموالهم

Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 16758
Abdullah bin Qatadah narrated that he was with Ali among the horsemen on the Day of Nahrawan. When they finished the battle, he neither beheaded anyone nor did he consider it permissible to mutilate the private parts.

(١٦٧٥٨) عبداللہ بن قتادہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں یوم النہروان حضرت علی کے ساتھ گھڑ سواروں میں تھا۔ جب جنگ سے فارغ ہوگئے تو آپ نے نہ کوئی سر کاٹا اور نہ شرمگاہ حلال سمجھی۔
(16758) Abdullah bin Qatada farmate hain ki main Yaum un Nahrawan Hazrat Ali ke sath ghur sawron mein tha. Jab jang se farigh hogaye to aap ne na koi sar kata aur na sharamgah halal samjhi.
١٦٧٥٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبِرْتِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْحَيِّ،قَالَ:كُنْتُ فِي الْخَيْلِ يَوْمَ النَّهْرَوَانِ مَعَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَلَمَّا أَنْ فَرَغَ مِنْهُمْ وَقَتَلَهُمْ، لَمْ يَقْطَعْ رَأْسًا، وَلَمْ يَكْشِفْ عَوْرَةً
