Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 1839
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Muslims came to Medina... then he narrated the Hadith of the beginning of the Adhan, at the end of which is that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “O Bilal! Stand up and give the Adhan for prayer!”

(١٨٣٩) سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ مسلمان جس وقت مدینہ میں آئے۔۔۔ ، پھر انھوں نے اذان کی ابتدا والی حدیث بیان کی، اس کے آخر میں ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے بلال ! کھڑے ہو کر نماز کے لیے اذان کہو !
(1839) Syedna Abdullah bin Umar (RA) se riwayat hai keh musalman jis waqt Madina mein aaye..., phir unhon ne azaan ki ibtida wali hadees bayaan ki, uske aakhir mein hai keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Aye Bilal! Khara ho kar namaz ke liye azaan kaho!
١٨٣٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي،وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،قَالَ:قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ،أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ:كَانَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ حِينَ قَدِمُوا الْمَدِينَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي بَدْءِ الْأَذَانِ وَفِي آخِرِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يَا بِلَالُ قُمْ فَنَادِ بِالصَّلَاةِ "أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ كَمَا مَضَى
