Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 1885
(1885) (a) Ash'ath bin Salim narrates from his father that he went with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) from Arafah to Muzdalifah. We continuously recited Allahu Akbar and La ilaha illallah until we reached Muzdalifah. He then gave the call to prayer (adhan) and said the Iqamah, or he instructed someone to do so, and that person gave the call to prayer and said the Iqamah. Then, he led us in praying three Rak'ahs of Maghrib prayer. He then turned towards us and led us in praying two Rak'ahs of Isha prayer. After that, he asked for dinner. (b) In the Hadith of Ulaj bin Amr, it is mentioned that "I prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this same manner." (c) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab and Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with them) that they prayed two prayers separately at the time of Isha with one adhan and one Iqamah.

(١٨٨٥) (الف) اشعث بن سلیم اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ میں ابن عمر (رض) کے ساتھ عرفات سے مزدلفہ آیا، ہم مسلسل اللہ اکبر اور لا الٰہ الا اللہ کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے مزدلفہ تک آئے انھوں نے اذان دی اور اقامت کہی یا کسی شخص کو حکم دیا، اس نے اذان دی اور اقامت کہی، پھر انھوں نے ہمیں مغرب کی تین رکعتیں پڑھائیں، پھر ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے، پھر عشا کی نماز ہمیں دو رکعتیں پڑھائیں، پھر رات کا کھانا منگوایا۔ (ب) علاج بن عمرو کی حدیث میں ہے کہ میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ اسی طرح نماز پڑھی۔ (ج) سیدنا عمر بن خطاب اور عبداللہ بن مسعود (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ انھوں نے عشا کے وقت میں دو نمازیں الگ الگ ایک اذان اور ایک اقامت سے پڑھیں۔
(1885) (alif) Ushas bin Saleem apne walid se naql farmate hain ki main Ibn Umar (RA) ke sath Arafaat se Muzdalifah aaya, hum musalsal Allah Akbar aur La ilaha illallah ka zikr karte hue Muzdalifah tak aaye unhon ne azan di aur iqamat kahi ya kisi shakhs ko hukm diya, us ne azan di aur iqamat kahi, phir unhon ne hamin Maghrib ki teen rakatain parhaen, phir hamari taraf mutawajjah hue, phir Isha ki namaz hamin do rakatain parhaen, phir raat ka khana mangwaya. (be) Ilaaj bin Amr ki hadees mein hai ki maine Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath isi tarah namaz parhaen. (jeem) Sayyidna Umar bin Khattab aur Abdullah bin Masood (RA) se riwayat hai ki unhon ne Isha ke waqt mein do namazain alag alag ek azan aur ek iqamat se parhaen.
١٨٨٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ثنا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،قَالَ:أَقْبَلَتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ إِلَى الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَفْتُرُ مِنَ التَّكْبِيرِ وَالتَّهْلِيلِ حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ فَأَذَّنَ وَأَقَامَ أَوْ أَمَرَ إِنْسَانًا فَأَذَّنَ وَأَقَامَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثَ رَكَعَاتٍ ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ: الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِعَشَائِهِ قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي عِلَاجُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَقِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ:" صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "هَكَذَا وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُمَا صَلَّيَا كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي وَقْتِ الْعِشَاءِ مَفْصُولَتَيْنِ بِأَذَانٍ وَإِقَامَةٍ
