Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2003
Salim bin 'Abdullah narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gives the Adhan at night, so eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum gives the Adhan." Ibn Shihab said: "Ibn Umm Maktum was blind, so he would not give the Adhan until it was said to him, 'Morning has come, morning has come.'"

(٢٠٠٣) سالم بن عبداللہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” بلال (رض) رات کو اذان دیتا ہے تم کھاؤ اور پیو یہاں تک کہ ابن ام مکتوم اذان دے۔ ابن شھاب کہتے ہیں : ابن ام مکتوم نابینا تھے وہ اذان نہیں دیتے تھے جب تک کہ ان سے کہا جاتا کہ تو نے صبح کردی تو نے صبح کردی۔
(2003) Salim bin Abdullah apne walid se naql farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Bilal (RA) raat ko azan deta hai tum khao aur piyo yahan tak ki Ibn Um Maktoom azan de. Ibn Shihab kahte hain : Ibn Um Maktoom nabina the wo azan nahi dete the jab tak ki un se kaha jata ki tune subah kardi tune subah kardi.
٢٠٠٣ -أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ثنا مَالِكٌ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِنَّ بِلَالًا يُنَادِي بِلَيْلٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُنَادِيَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ "قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: وَكَانَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ رَجُلًا أَعْمَى لَا يُنَادِي حَتَّى يُقَالُ لَهُ: أَصْبَحْتَ أَصْبَحْتَ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ
