Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2032
Abu Ghalib said: I heard from Abu Umama that the mu'adhdhin (one who calls to prayer) is entrusted with the trust of the Muslims and the Imam (prayer leader) is their guarantor, and I prefer the adhan over the Imamate.

(٢٠٣٢) ابو غالب کہتے ہیں : میں نے ابو امامہ سے سنا کہ مؤذن مسلمانوں کے امین ہیں اور امام ضامن ہیں اور مجھے اذان امامت سے زیادہ پسند ہے۔
(2032) Abu Ghalib kahte hain : main ne Abu Umama se suna ke muazzin musalmanon ke amin hain aur imam zaman hain aur mujhe azan imamat se ziada pasand hai.
٢٠٣٢ -أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا أَبُو غَالِبٍ قَالَ:سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يَقُولُ:" الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ أُمَنَاءُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْأَئِمَّةُ ضُمَنَاءُ "قَالَ: وَالْأَذَانُ أَحَبُّ إِلِيَّ مِنَ الْإِمَامَةِ "
