Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2582
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated a hadith that Abdullah bin Umar and Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with them) both used to say: “Whoever catches the bowing (ruku) before the Imam raises his head (from it) then he has caught the rak'ah.”

(٢٥٨٢) امام مالک (رح) نے حدیث بیان کی کہ عبداللہ بن عمر اور زید بن ثابت (رض) دونوں فرمایا کرتے تھے کہ جس نے امام کے سر اٹھانے سے پہلے رکوع پا لیا تو اس نے رکعت پا لی۔
(2582) Imam Malik (rh) ne hadees bayan ki keh Abdullah bin Umar aur Zaid bin Sabit (rz) donon farmaya karte thay keh jis ne imam ke sar uthane se pehle ruku paa liya to us ne rakat paa li.
٢٥٨٢ -قَالَ:وَحَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ،وَزَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ كَانَا يَقُولَانِ:" مَنْ أَدْرَكَ الرَّكْعَةَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الْإِمَامُ رَأْسَهُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ السَّجْدَةَ "
