Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2790
Amir bin Abdullah bin Zubair narrated from his father that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would sit in prayer, he would place the palm of his left hand on his left thigh and point with his index finger, and his gaze would not extend beyond his pointing finger.

(٢٧٩٠) عامر بن عبداللہ بن زبیر اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نماز میں جب بیٹھتے تو اپنی بائیں ہتھیلی کو اپنی بائیں ران پر رکھتے اور اپنی شہادت کی انگلی کے ساتھ اشارہ فرماتے اور آپ کی نگاہ آپ کے اشارے سے آگے نہ بڑھتی تھی۔
(2790) Amir bin Abdullah bin Zubair apne walid se riwayat karte hain ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) namaz mein jab baithte to apni baen hatheli ko apni baen ran par rakhte aur apni shahadat ki ungli ke sath ishara farmate aur aap ki nigaah aap ke ishare se aage na barhti thi.
٢٧٩٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَضَعَ كَفَّهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى، وَكَفَّهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى، وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَابَةِ لَا يُجَاوِزُ بَصَرُهُ إِشَارَتَهُ "
