Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5074
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell down from a horse upon the trunk of a date-palm tree, and his ankle got dislocated. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was staying in the house of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and we came to visit him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and found him offering the voluntary prayer while sitting. We were standing, then we came while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was offering the compulsory prayer sitting. We stood behind him, and he beckoned towards us (to sit), and we sat down. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said: "Follow your imam. If he offers the prayer sitting, you too should offer the prayer sitting, and if he offers the prayer standing, you too should offer the prayer standing, and do not do as the Persians used to do with their elders."

(٥٠٧٤) جابر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) گھوڑے سے کھجور کے ایک تنے پر گرگئے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا ٹخنا نکل گیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ، عائشہ (رض) کے گھر بیٹھ گئے۔ ہم آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی تیمارداری کے لیے آئے تو ہم نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو پایا کہ نفل نماز بیٹھ کر پڑھ رہے تھے اور ہم کھڑے تھے۔ پھر ہم آئے تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرض نماز بیٹھ کر پڑھ رہے تھے، ہم آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پیچھے کھڑے ہوگئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہماری طرف اشارہ کیا، ہم بیٹھ گئے۔ پھر فرمایا : تم اپنے امام کی پیروی کرو۔ اگر وہ بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھے تو تم بھی بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھو اور اگر وہ کھڑا ہو کر نماز پڑھے تو تم بھی کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھو اور تم ایسا نہ کرو جیسے فارسی اپنے بڑوں کے لیے کرتے تھے۔
(5074) Jabir (RA) farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ghore se khajoor ke aik tane par gir gaye, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ka takhna nikal gaya to Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)), Aisha (RA) ke ghar baith gaye. Hum Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki timardari ke liye aaye to humne Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko paya ke nafl namaz baith kar parh rahe the aur hum khare the. Phir hum aaye to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) farz namaz baith kar parh rahe the, hum Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke peeche khare ho gaye to Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne humari taraf ishara kiya, hum baith gaye. Phir farmaya: Tum apne imam ki pairavi karo. Agar wo baith kar namaz parhe to tum bhi baith kar namaz parho aur agar wo khara ho kar namaz parhe to tum bhi khare ho kar namaz parho aur tum aisa na karo jaise Farsi apne baron ke liye karte the.
٥٠٧٤ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْفَرَّاءُ، أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أنبأ الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ،عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ:" صُرِعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ فَرَسٍ لَهُ عَلَى جِذْعِ نَخْلَةٍ فَانْفَكَّتْ قَدَمُهُ، فَقَعَدَ فِي بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، فَأَتَيْنَاهُ نَعُودُهُ فَوَجَدْنَاهُ يُصَلِّي تَطَوُّعًا، فَصَلَّى قَاعِدًا وَنَحْنُ ⦗١١٤⦘ قِيَامٌ، ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَاهُ فَوَجَدْنَاهُ يُصَلِّي صَلَاةً مَكْتُوبَةً قَاعِدًا،قَالَ:فَقُمْنَا، فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْنَا فَجَلَسْنَا،ثُمَّ قَالَ:"ائْتَمُّوا بِالْإِمَامِ، إِنْ صَلَّى قَاعِدًا فَصَلُّوا قُعُودًا، وَإِنْ صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا، وَلَا تَفْعَلُوا كَمَا تَفْعَلُ فَارِسَ لِعُظَمَائِهَا "
